Outcast Distribution: the Signal Hill wholesaler that owns the Pure Leaf Kratom mark and sells 7-OH to smoke shops

Who they say they are, and what the record says

Outcast Distribution, LLC is the company that the terms of a Long Beach smoke shop's web store, in July 2025, said “owns and operates amsterdam retail services llc and pure leaf kratom”.[1] Our dossiers on Pure Leaf Kratom and Amsterdam Smoke Shop cover those two shops. This one is about the company behind them, and what else it runs.

It is a California limited liability company, file number 201822810364, registered on 14 August 2018 and active. OpenCorporates' copy of the state record gives its “registered address 1501 hughes way ste 305 long beach 90810” and its “agent address 2201 e willow st signal hill ca 90755”.[2] The Amsterdam shop's company, Amsterdam Retail Services, LLC (file number 200809810173), has the same registered address and the same registered agent.[3] Outcast also registered as a foreign company in Kentucky, where its record lists a “head office address 1892 freeman ave signal hill ca 90755”,[4] and in Nevada on 3 February 2026.[5]

The company's email domain, outcastllc.com, was registered on 2018-08-20, a week after the company.[6] Its web shop, outcastwholesaleclub.com, was registered on 2022-10-24.[7] Both domains use the same pair of Cloudflare name servers as amsterdamllc.com, amsterdamsmoke.shop and pureleafkratom.com, which on its own proves little, since Cloudflare hands one pair to many accounts.[8] A third domain, outcastdistribution.com, was registered on 2026-05-26 and serves an empty page.[9]

The trademark. The strongest record of what Outcast owns is federal. On 19 December 2019 it applied to register PURE LEAF KRATOM, as “owner of mark outcast distribution llc street 1890 freeman ave city signal hill”, claiming “first use anywhere date at least as early as 06 21 2019”.[10] The application was signed by the company's managing member.[10] The mark was registered on 28 July 2020.[11]

Its specimen was a jar of kratom: “the sample of the design is shown on the lid of a jar carved into the wood”.[10] The label in the photograph says the White Borneo leaf inside enhances the ability to focus and improves response times.

On 14 July 2026, three months after Texas sued it, Outcast filed the declaration that keeps a registration alive after six years. The form reads “specimen description screenshot of a website webpage url pureleafkratom com webpage date of access 07 14 2026”, the owner's address moved, in the form's words, to “owner section proposed name outcast distribution llc mailing address 2201 e willow st ste d 136”, and the signatory gave his position as CEO: “signatory's position ceo date signed 07 14 2026”.[12] The USPTO's status page now reads “a section 8 declaration has been accepted”.[11] So in July 2026 the company swore that pureleafkratom.com was its mark in use. The Texas petition had put the same relation as a belief: “upon information and belief pure leaf kratom is a subsidiary and operated by defendant outcast”.[13]

Five streets. The petition gives Outcast's address as “with a principal place of business at 1892 freedom ave signal hill ca 90755”.[13] The company's own Kentucky filing says 1892 Freeman Ave, its 2019 trademark application says 1890 Freeman Ave, and Amsterdam's 2023 contact page gave an office at 1892 Freeman Ave. The petition's street name looks like a slip for Freeman. The wholesale club's own pages moved too. In February 2023 its contact page read “outcast distribution llc 2201 n lakewood blvd suite d 636 long beach ca 90815 1 562 343 5717”,[14] which is the building the petition gives for Pure Leaf: it “is a foreign limited liability company with a principal place of business at 2201 n lakewood blvd long beach ca 90815”,[13] and the telephone number both shops' terms gave in July 2025.[1] By June 2023 the footer read “footer start 2201 e willow st ste d136 signal hill ca 90755”,[15] in January 2025 “footer start 1312 w esther st long beach ca 90813 call us at 562 320 8443”,[16] and by February 2026 it was back on Willow Street: “2201 e willow st ste 136 signal hill 90755 ca united states call us at 562 320 8443”.[17] The 2023 footer also said “headquarters in orange county california”;[18] Long Beach and Signal Hill are in Los Angeles County.

The company's own terms of September 2025 are headed “outcast distribution llc terms of use last updated effective date september 19 2025”, say Outcast “operates the website outcast wholesale club smoke shop essentials website”, and give the notice address “outcast distribution llc 1312 w esther st long beach ca 90813 telephone 562 343 5717”.[19] That is the same telephone number again. Amsterdam's July 2025 terms gave the notice block to “outcast inc 1312 w esther st long beach ca 90813 telephone 562 343 5717”;[1] a search of OpenCorporates' California records for Outcast, Inc. found ten companies of that name or near it, none at a Long Beach or Signal Hill address.[20]

What they sell

A wholesale club for shops. The club opened on Shopify under the company's own name. Its February 2023 banner read “your 1 supplier of smoke and kratom products”, with a $300 minimum order and a copyright line reading “2023 outcast distribution llc powered by shopify”.[18] The About page began “we are outcast distribution llc it is our mission to provide you with quality kratom products at affordable wholesale price points”, and claimed more than a reseller's role: “we manufacture and wholesale our own products”, and “we have a manufacturing division that enables us to produce products in large volumes”, offering bulk pricing up to “large production for master distributors and manufacturers”.[21]

Its own kratom. In June 2023 the club's popular brands began “popular brands krave kratom opms kratom mit 45 pure leaf kratom”,[15] and it had a Pure Leaf Kratom brand page selling items like the “pure leaf kratom 20g powder countertop box”.[22] A Pure Leaf shot was sold to shops with the line “this high dosage kratom shot delivers powerful results that are not to be taken lightly” and the promise of “a high alkaloid content with a pure finish and no chemicals or toxins”.[23] A second house line was listed under the brand name Outcast Distribution LLC itself, bulk Indo Farms capsules and powder “available exclusively at outcast wholesale club”.[15]

Smoke-shop stock. By December 2023 the site called itself “outcast wholesale club smoke shop essentials call us 562 320 8443”, with a “500 minimum order required” and a menu of “cream chargers detox rolling essentials smoking devices”.[24] The cream chargers included flavoured Galaxy Gas tanks, one listing reading “introducing the galaxy gas infusion xl 1l nitrous oxide n2o 615g tank”.[25] Galaxy Gas is the brand at the centre of our nitrous tanks deep dive. The Novelty menu sold Rush poppers with the copy “unlock a rush of sensations and unleash your inhibitions with our potent formula”,[26] and synthetic urine that the club's disclaimer page said “our synthetic urine is designed exclusively for scientific and experimental purposes”.[27] In August 2024 it called itself “your specialized west coast smoke shop distributor”.[28]

7-OH. In 2025 the pitch changed. The home page of July 2025 says “we offer the largest and fastest growing selection of 7 hydroxymitragynine kratom” and “we provide trusted lab tested options at competitive wholesale prices”, and a visitor now had to log in: “please log in or create an account to view our products”.[29] By November 2025 the site had moved to a new platform. Its categories read “view all categories hemp pseudo 7 oh mushrooms kava”, its featured “brands green monkey limitless ultra seven numana birdies”, and a new account could be opened as a business or a person: “select signup type signup as b2b signup as b2c”.[30]

The all-brands page of the same month counted the products per brand. Among them were “dozo 6 products”, “opia kratom 11 products”, “tre house 6 products”, “7tabz 19 products” and “7 stax 14 products”, beside the largest kratom-leaf line, “krave kratom 57 products”.[31] Our dossiers cover Dozo, Opia, Tre House, 7 Stax and Limitless. In April 2026 the brand directory listed “pure ohms edp dozo modus” and “opia kratom on7 se7en” on one page and “proxie renew kratom” and “7oh 7 stax rise with us” on another, so Modus and Proxie were on its books too.[32][33] The 7-OH and pseudoindoxyl pages linked from the scorecard say what is known about those compounds.

Who it sells to. A shop applying to “become a dealer of outcast distribution” picks a “type of business retailer retail chain distro” and is asked to “please include a copy of year resale certificate or state tax id card”.[34] Its distributor terms govern “the sale of products by outcast distribution llc an california limited liability company” to downstream distributors and add that a “distributor shall not resell the products at a price below the resale price” Outcast sets.[35] The October 2026 home page, titled “outcast distro premium kratom 7 hydroxy products online”, opens with “outcast distribution built for wholesale” over a photograph of 7-OH tablet bottles, and gives “2201 e willow st signal hill 90755 ca united states call us at 562 320 8443 sales outcastllc com”.[36]

What buyers report

Method: the local Reddit archive of 38 subreddits, including r/kratom, r/7_hydroxymitragynine, r/7oh and r/quittingkratom, was searched on 2026-10-12 for “outcast distribution”, “outcast distro”, “outcast wholesale” and “outcastwholesale”. No post names the company. Its buyers are shops, and the shoppers who write on Reddit meet its brands under the names of Pure Leaf Kratom and Amsterdam Smoke Shop, whose dossiers carry those reports.

Lab results

The July 2025 home page promised “trusted lab tested options”.[29] None of the 424 distinct addresses the archive holds for outcastwholesaleclub.com is a certificate, lab-results or COA page.[37] The laboratory results that bear on the company are the State of Texas's, set out in the Pure Leaf dossier: five products bought from pureleafkratom.com in March 2026 and tested by the State's laboratory. They are exhibits in an undecided suit.

Regulatory and legal

On 15 April 2026 the State of Texas sued Pure Leaf Kratom, LLC and Outcast Distribution, LLC in Collin County, Cause No. 366-02536-2026, and the petition treats them together. It alleges that smoke shops and convenience stores sell these products, and that “upon information and belief such retailers obtain these products from online distributors including defendants pure leaf”.[13] It alleges that “neither defendant pure leaf kratom llc nor outcast distribution llc have registered as foreign entities” in Texas.[13] These are allegations; no ruling or later filing was found by search on 2026-10-12.

The FDA's warning-letter index returns nothing for “outcast” or “outcast wholesale”.[38] The company's own kratom shipping list, unchanged in substance since 2023, reads “this product is not available for shipment to the following states alabama arkansas indiana rhode island wisconsin”, followed by a list of counties and cities; it says nothing about 7-OH or pseudoindoxyl.[30]

Age. The 2023 footer said “must be 21 years or older to purchase kratom”,[18] while the disclaimer page read “this product is not for use by or sale to persons under the age of 18”.[27] From November 2025 a person could sign up as a retail customer.[30]

Still open

• Who owns Outcast Distribution. The trademark filings name its managing member in 2019 and its CEO in 2026; the registry lists four officers that OpenCorporates does not show to a signed-out reader. California's own business registry is the record to read.
• What Outcast makes. Its 2023 About page claimed a manufacturing division; no label, permit or facility record naming it as a manufacturer was found.
• Whether a company called Pure Leaf Kratom, LLC exists. OpenCorporates returns no company of that name in any jurisdiction;[39] the trademark belongs to Outcast.
• What Outcast does in Nevada. Its foreign registration there is dated 3 February 2026, and Amsterdam's store gave a Las Vegas address in October 2026.
• Whether the Texas suit has been decided.
