Elyxr: the Los Angeles hemp shop that became the first home of 7 Stax

Who they say they are, and what the record says

Elyxr is a web shop at elyxr.com that sells hemp cannabinoids, mushroom-blend sweets, kratom and, since 2024, other brands' 7-OH tablets. It also sells its own products under the name Elyxr LA. Its About page says that “elyxr la was founded in october 2020 with a focus on providing high quality delta 8 products”, and that “with over 2 000 products elyxr la sets itself apart by offering same day shipping”.[1] The first archive copy of the shop, from January 2021, sells two things, both Elyxr delta-8 gummies.[2][3] The domain itself is older: the registry gives its current registration as created on 2016-03-30.[4] It is not Eluxir, a different web shop that buyers sometimes mix it up with.

The company behind the name is in the trademark record. In March 2022 a California corporation applied to register ELYXR LA for hemp gummies, tinctures, vape cartridges and drinks. The applicant was Urban Packaging Corp., of 330 Wall St. in Los Angeles, and the form gives its trade name: “dba aka ta formerly dba elyxr com”. It claimed “first use anywhere date at least as early as 01 02 2022”, and its specimen was the shop itself: “webpage url https www elyxr com collections elyxr delta 8”.[5] Urban Packaging Corp. was registered in California in March 2018 (“7 mar 2018 registration”) at “330 s wall street unit 1 los angeles”,[6] and since 2025 has registered in other states, Florida among them, where its record reads “branch of urban packaging corp california us”.[7] The same company owns a registered mark for e-liquid and electronic cigarettes, AMERICAN VIBES.[8]

A laboratory certificate ties the shop to the same address. When Elyxr sent its HHC vape to KCA Laboratories in January 2024, the certificate named the client as “client elyxr 330 wall st 1 los angeles ca 90013”.[9]

The shop's own pages give other addresses. In 2024 its contact page listed “headquarters 150 se 2nd ave ste 403 miami fl 33131”, a text-only support line with a Miami-area number, (786) 770-1831, and office hours in Pacific time.[10] Its wholesale page that month gave a different one: “headquarters 1600 dove st ste 335 newport beach ca 92660”.[11] A buyer's tracking screen from August 2026 shows an order's label created in Phoenix, Arizona.[12] No record we read names the company's officers.

The 7 Stax connection. 7 Stax, a brand of 7-OH tablets with its own dossier, was sold at Elyxr before it had a website. The first Reddit post that names it, on 2025-01-04, is titled “7stax 15ct legit on elyxr com”.[13] In May 2025 a buyer guessed: “i think this brand is owned by a company called elxr”.[14] The documents point the same way. Urban Packaging Corp. is the applicant for the 7STAX trademark, filed in January 2026: “owner name urban packaging corp”, at “330 wall st ste 1”.[15] Its Texas record carries a second name: “alternative names 7stax corp trading name”.[16] And 7stax.com's contact page in September 2025 gave “phone number 786 770 1831”, the number Elyxr's contact page had given a year before.[17][10]

What they sell

Its own hemp products, from 2021. The first shop sold “our 25mg delta 8 thc gummies” and said that “we manufacture in the los angeles using california oregon and colorado grown hemp”.[2] Beside the gummies stood three badges, one of them reading “fda approved facility our manufacturing facility was previously used for the production of hand sanitizer”.[2] The page does not say whose facility that was, and we found no drug listing under Urban Packaging's name. On legality it said that “delta 8 is federally legal as long as it is under 0 3 delta 9 thc content which all of elyxrs products are”.[2] By 2022 the Elyxr LA line covered delta-8, delta-10, THC-O, HHC and CBD, in jars, cartridges, tinctures, dabs and gummies.[5]

Mushroom sweets. By mid-2023 the shop sold “amanita muscaria mushroom gummies 5000mg”, from Amanita muscaria,[18] and its About page said that “our mushroom gummies are expertly formulated to deliver a spiritual and or religious experience”.[1] In December 2025 a buyer posted a pouch of the shop's own Mindbender Star Trip gummies. The pouch names 15 mg of THC-P and 135 mg of delta-8, and a 350 mg mushroom blend it does not break down. The buyer wrote: “i definitely was led to believe by the product name and stereotypical propietary mushroom blend that there would for sure be a tryptamine in them”, and after eating five, “sadly however i do not believe this was the case”.[19]

The shop also resold other brands' mushroom sweets. Archive copies from December 2023 to April 2024 show Diamond Shruumz chocolate, cones and gummies, the chocolate as “diamond shruumz chocolate available in 6 flavors”, with an invitation to “try the microdosing craze with 1 6oz of their mushroom blend in each square”.[20] What happened to that brand is under Regulatory below.

THCA, and a list of states. By 2024 the shop sold THCA flower, pre-rolls, dabs and vapes, and its shipping page said that “we will not ship thc a to the following restricted states”, nineteen of them. It promised that “all orders placed on a weekday before 4pm pst will ship same day”.[21]

7-OH, from 2024. The same shipping page already had a kratom list: “we will not ship kratom to the following restricted states alabama arkansas indiana rhode island vermont and wisconsin”.[21] By February 2025 the home page banner read “7stax premium kratom alkaloid tablets buy two get one free”,[22] and by September “7stax 7oh lowest prices highest potency”.[23] In September 2026 the 7-OH collection described itself as “spanning more than 250 listings across tablets shots vapes and extracts from over forty brands”, and said that “every product is third party tested with a batch certificate of analysis available”.[24] It included Limitless tablets, “limitless platinum edition 7 oh tablets 1000mg 10 count”.[24] Its menu also lists Tre House among its brands: “psilo mart tre house all brands”.[22]

7 Stax stayed at the top. On 2026-09-29 the home page's first best-seller was “7stax premium 7 oh kratom alkaloid tablets 1500mg 15 count”, and the banner showed the brand's Next Generation Mitragynine Blend; the mitragynine line was on sale as “nano tech mitragynine tablets 1200mg 15 count”.[25]

An MGM-15 collection. On 2026-08-14 the shop had a collection page titled MGM-15 Products, with two tablet listings, “mgm 15 tablets vault edition 450mg 15 count out of stock” and “hydro7 mgm 15 tablets 250mg 10 count out of stock”.[26] MGM-15 is a semi-synthetic relative of 7-OH. Twelve days later it was in Schedule I (see below).

Advertising. In January 2026 a reader of r/7_hydroxymitragynine posted two of the shop's Facebook ads. One imagines a friend asking whether Elyxr is better quality than the plug, and the answer is that the buyer is still high from the last pack. The poster wrote: “this is the kinda bullshit that encourages bans”. Below it, a commenter said that “elyxr is just a distribution center that is licensed to also ship residential”.[27]

The 2026 storefront opens behind an age check that asks whether the visitor is 21 or older, with two buttons.[26]

What buyers report

We searched the local Reddit archive for Elyxr (and the misspellings elxr and elyxer) on 2026-10-12: 114 posts from January 2023 to September 2026, 9 in 2023, 28 in 2024, 40 in 2025 and 37 in 2026.[28] The early ones are in hemp forums (r/delta8, r/CultoftheFranklin, r/altcannabinoids); from 2025 most are in the 7-OH forums. We read 30 threads with their comments. A keyword count over titles and bodies found 20 posts with words of approval and 15 about late orders or unanswered messages; many threads have both.

Orders that arrived. In August 2024 a buyer of mushroom chocolate said “they were caring enough to put an ice pack and thermal bubble wrap in with my chocolate bar”.[29] Others called it “just an online smoke shop it seems”,[30] or said “they are fine takes a while to get your stuff tho”.[31]

Orders that did not, or not as ordered. From late 2024 the complaints are about waiting. One buyer in October 2024 said “they charged my card and sent a confirmation email but on my account on their website it says i have no orders or order history”.[32] Another, after Black Friday, said that after a week and a half “they notify they dont have what i ordered in stock and have no idea when they will so they just refund the items they dont have”.[33] A regular wrote in January 2026 that “they used to be so reliable sometimes the orders would be filled within hours”, and now “they would never respond to my emails”.[34] The same month another reported “no response from customer service”.[35] In August 2026 a buyer said that “shipping was free but they then changed it to charge and then charged me fees as well”.[36]

Returns. In December 2025 a buyer sent back a package that looked wrong: “i was told that if i sent the product back that i would get a full refund”, and then “right now the guy i was talking to has disappeared”.[37] In September 2026 a reader of the shop's terms said “they will not give a refund on any 7oh products if the ban happens before the order ships”, and that “they say they take at least 6 business days to ship your order”.[38] We did not read that page.

A seized parcel. On 2026-09-30 a buyer posted that “the postal inspector gladly seized my package i ordered 7stax 100mg tabs”, with a tracking screen showing the label created in Phoenix on 2026-08-31 and the parcel held by the Postal Service for a mailability decision.[12]

Allegations: who says what, why, and what we could check

That Elyxr sold counterfeit tablets of another brand. In February 2026 a buyer of Modus Smax tablets wrote “im pretty sure i just got 5 of them from elyxr”, because “the pills are normally rounded with really nice embossed m on them” and these were flat and a different colour.[39] A reader put the risk on shops of this kind, “the ones that sell smokeshop tabs”.[39] What we could check: the photographs are deleted, nobody posted a test of the tablets, and we found no document on where the shop buys its stock.

That Elyxr took down a 7 Stax certificate. In August 2025 a buyer wrote that “elxyr deleted these solvent labs for a batch of 7stax back in february”.[40] The certificate in question, for a February 2025 7 Stax mint tablet, reports methanol above its limit; it is discussed in the 7 Stax dossier. What we could check: the archive holds that certificate, “tested for 7stax”, at two elyxr.com upload addresses, captured in March and July 2025.[41] Whether and when it left the product page, the archive does not show.

Lab results

What the shop publishes. Elyxr hosts certificates for its own products and for the brands it resells. For its HHC vape, KCA Laboratories reported a sample of “elyxr la hhc disposable 2ml 2000mg” as 93.6 per cent total cannabinoids, mostly two HHC isomers, with delta-9 THC not detected.[9] The certificate gives no per-cartridge figure to set against the 2,000 mg on the box.

A buyer's test. In March 2023 a buyer posted a heavy-metals table, introduced as “this was from kca labs elyxr la” gummies. It reads arsenic 27.0 and lead 53.5 parts per billion, cadmium and mercury not detected.[42] Only the table was posted, so the batch and the limits the laboratory applied are not shown.

We found no independent test of a product bought from Elyxr against its label.

Regulatory and legal

Two trademarks refused. The USPTO answered the ELYXR LA application in November 2023: “registration is refused because the applied for mark is not in lawful use in commerce under the controlled substances act”. The examiner added that “however applicant should note that even hemp derived cbd products may be subject to an additional unlawful use refusal under the food drug and cosmetic act”, and made that refusal too.[43] The application was revived in February 2024 after lapsing, and in September 2024 the examiner wrote that the “following refusals and requirements are continued and maintained”.[44] The company answered in October 2024; no later action was on file when we read it. In September 2026 the same company's 7STAX application was refused in the same words: “registration is refused because the applied for mark is not in lawful use in commerce”.[45]

Diamond Shruumz. FDA began investigating illnesses linked to Diamond Shruumz products in June 2024. Its notice says that “all diamond shruumz brand products have been recalled and should no longer be available for sale”, and by November it counted that “73 people have been hospitalized and there are three 3 potentially associated deaths”.[46] Elyxr had listed the brand's chocolate in the months before.[20] FDA's list of stores where the recalled products were found does not name Elyxr, and we found no capture of the listings after the recall.

MGM-15 and 7-OH. The DEA placed MGM-15 in Schedule I by temporary order: “this temporary order is effective august 26 2026 until august 26 2028”.[47] The shop's own legal page, current to September 2026, said “7 oh is not currently scheduled mgm 15 and mgm 16” are.[24] On 2026-10-09 the DEA filed a temporary order placing 7-OH above a threshold in Schedule I.[48]

Florida. In July 2026 the archive caught a notice saying “elyxr is voluntarily halting all sales of our 7 oh products in florida including 7stax”, naming the brand's “proprietary nano tech formulation until further notice”. It added: “we wish to state explicitly that our products are not in violation of florida” law.[49] The 7 Stax site had said in May 2026 that nano tech does not indicate a proprietary blend; that disclaimer is quoted in the 7 Stax dossier.

The hemp definition. The 2021 claim that delta-8 is federally legal under 0.3 percent delta-9 THC rests on the 2018 definition of hemp, which section 781 of P.L. 119-37, approved in November 2025, replaces. P.L. 119-103, approved on September 2, 2026, provides: “Until December 11, 2026, the amendments made by section 781 of division B of Public Law 119-37 (7 U.S.C. 1639o note) shall only apply with respect to products described in paragraphs (1)(C)(ii)(I) and (1)(C)(iv)(I)” of the definition.[50] Those two paragraphs exclude products containing “cannabinoids that are not capable of being naturally produced by a Cannabis sativa L. plant”, so that exclusion applies from November 12, 2026. The rest, including a total-THC test that counts THCA and a cap on final products of “greater than 0.4 milligrams combined total per container”, applies from December 11, 2026.[50][51] Our deep dive on the hemp cliff sets out which products each date reaches.

No warning letter. An FDA search of its warning-letter index on 2026-10-12, for Elyxr, elyxr.com, Urban Packaging Corp., American Vibes and 7stax, found no letter.[52]

Still open

Who runs Urban Packaging Corp. The trademarks, a laboratory certificate and the Texas trading name tie Elyxr and 7 Stax to it; the records we read do not name its officers, and the Miami and Newport Beach headquarters on the shop's pages and the Phoenix shipping label are not explained by anything we read.

What is in the Mindbender gummies' 350 mg mushroom blend, and what was in the Diamond Shruumz products the shop sold. We found no certificate for either among the pages we read.

Whether any product bought from Elyxr matches its label. No buyer posted a full test, and the shop's certificates cover samples it sent.

How the shop takes payment. We found the card logos on its 2024 pages and no complaint naming a payment processor.

Whether the ELYXR LA application is still alive after the October 2024 response.
