checkout is on a partner's store that was not examined

  • Does it say what the legal status of what it sells is, honestly, where it ships?

7-OH labelled a dietary supplement, which FDA says it cannot lawfully be; Reset's status unknowable because its compound is unnamed

The long read

Who they say they are, and what the record says

TestMyKratom, usually TMK, is a website at testmykratom.org that buys 7-OH and kratom products, sends them to commercial laboratories, and publishes the certificates with a letter grade. The domain was registered on 11 June 2024, with the registrant not shown.[1] The first archived copy of the site, in September 2024, invited readers to “be the first to receive the latest test results”,[2] and its first results post on Reddit followed on 20 September.[3]

TestMyKratom's About page in September 2024 under a banner asking Were you at CHAMPS?: the heading Why trust our lab results?, the line In short, you don't need to trust us, and a paragraph saying it pays a third party lab, Cora Science, to run the tests and posts the results in full; below, Why we exist, about fraudulently marketed 7-OH products.
Figure 1. September 2024, the service's first month: it says it runs no tests itself and pays Cora Science to run them. [4]

It does not run instruments. Its About page in September 2024 said: “we are not performing these tests ourselves we pay a reputable third party lab cora science to run these tests and then we post their results in full”, and gave its mission as: “our mission is to cut through the lies and keep all the vendors in the space honest about what they are selling”.[4] When the subreddit it moderates, r/testmykratom, opened in May 2026, its founder described the method as: “we anonymously buy products off the shelf send them to an independent lab”, with “no brand sponsorships no paid placements just data”.[5]

No company name appears anywhere we looked. The certificates its laboratories issue give the customer as “testmykratom org 18117 biscayne blvd suite 4220 miami fl 33160”,[6] and its terms of use say they are “governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of florida”.[7] Its founder signs posts with a first name only. In September 2024 a buyer wrote that “it's clear to me it's being run by 7ohmz”, the tablet brand, and other buyers replied that other brands had A grades too: “edp tabs 7rx tabs on7 tabs all got an a”.[8] The claim came back in February 2025. One buyer wrote that “it was known since tmk started and wasn't even a secret at first”, and another answered: “i don't care if 7ohmz funded every test they're not doing the tests reputable labs are”.[9] We found no document linking the two businesses' ownership. We did find one commercial link. TMK's first affiliate partners, announced in January 2025, included Eluxir, a reseller “currently they are only carrying 7ohmz”,[10] and Eluxir later handled checkout for TMK's subscription box and its own tablets.[11][12]

How it tests, and which laboratories

Four laboratories appear on the certificates TMK publishes. Each is a separate business, and each certificate states its own accreditation:

  • Cora Science (Austin, Texas), the only lab in 2024. Its certificates say the methods are “accredited to iso iec 17025 2017 in the field of testing by pjla accreditation 116374”.[13]
  • Anresco Laboratories (San Francisco), added in September 2024.[3] Its certificates say “anresco laboratories is iso iec 17025 2017 accredited by anab certificate number at 1551”.[6]
  • NN Analytics (San Diego), which tests TMK's own tablets. Its certificates mark which results fall outside its accredited scope. MGM-15, for example, is listed as “not an iso17025 accredited work item”.[14]
  • PharmLabs San Diego, the lab TMK says its tablet manufacturer uses,[15] with a certificate line reading “iso iec 17025 2017 acc 85368”.[16]

TMK's FAQ says of Cora and Anresco that “both of which are iso iec 17025 accredited testing facilities”.[17] The accreditation numbers above are taken from the laboratories' own certificates. We did not confirm them in the accreditors' public directories.

The tests measure 7-OH, mitragynine and some other alkaloids, plus a residual-solvent panel. Mitragynine pseudoindoxyl was added in January 2025, and an adulterant panel was run on some products.[10] TMK said in 2024 that it pays for its samples so that vendors cannot send it special stock: “we prefer to buy all the things we get tested anonymously”.[18]

The Grading System page in November 2024: two criteria, potency against the label and residual solvents, and a table: A 90%+ of claimed potency, B 75%+, C 60%+, all with no solvents; F lower than 60% or any solvent.
Figure 2. The grading table in November 2024. It sets a floor for each grade and no ceiling; a product far above its label is not marked down here. [19]

The grades. The 2024 grading page has two tests: potency against the label, and whether there are “are there measureable amounts of any class i or class ii residual solvents”. The table runs from A down to “f lower than 60 of claimed potency any”.[19] That table has a lower limit for each grade and no upper one. The January 2026 FAQ allowed overages “typically up to 120 of claimed potency”.[17] In replies on Reddit, TMK gave a third version, a symmetric band. In April 2025 it said “we give b grades to everything thats 10 25 off from the advertised potency”,[20] in January 2026 “every product within 10 gets an a otherwise they don't”,[21] and in March 2026 “10 off in either direction is not an a rated product”.[22] All three readings were public at once.

Where its results were checked

Disputes over results are part of the record. In three cases the same batch was tested twice.

  • VII, autumn 2024. Anresco failed VII's Green Mint Minis for methanol. VII disputed the result, and TMK offered to retest at Cora tablets “from the exact batch that anresco tested”.[23] Cora found no methanol. TMK changed the grade and wrote “in this case it seems our initial lab result was incorrect”.[24]
  • RAW, early 2025. TMK's Cora test of RAW's Golden Dose powder found it under the label and failed it for methylcyclohexane. A later Anresco test of the powder came out within about two points of Cora's figure, but TMK noted that “anresco laboratories does not test for methylcyclohexane”. RAW sent a cease-and-desist letter: “in light of raw sending us a cease desist yesterday”.[25] Buyers argued both ways. One wrote “man tmk is conflict of interest all the way”. TMK replied to another that a 7Tabz tablet it had failed “tested at 6 95mg of 7 oh and 2 45mg of pseudo”.[26] An independent buyer sent one sample to three labs and found that Anresco “totally misses the mark and fails to agree with either lab”.[27] TMK answered “in the first case anresco and cora had similar results”, and added that the RAW samples came from different batches.[28]
  • LD7, spring 2026. TMK failed an LD7 tablet that tested far below its label. Buyers then reported that the vendor's own laboratory, Cora, had admitted an error on the vendor's certificate. The thread asked whether TMK should keep the F “after cora owned up to their mistake and ld7 issued refunds”.[29] As buyers described it, TMK's number was the right one.

Earlier, in January 2025, buyers posted a cease-and-desist letter from the Eat Ohmz brand over its results: “eatohmz is try to do a ceased and desist on test my kratom”.[30] We found no lawsuit that followed from either letter.

Where its money came from

Affiliate links, from January 2025. TMK announced the programme in a newsletter: “in an affiliate program we post links to buy products on our website”. It drew a line against sponsorship: “a sponsor would pay a set fee to have their brand or products featured we will never do this”. It promised that “we will still be posting all lab results good and bad”.[10] One buyer called it a pay-to-play “scheme to me”.[31] TMK has denied that model more than once: “we've never made a vendor pay for a review”.[21] We found no document showing a grade had been bought. The commission is still visible on the grade pages, where a product's grade sits next to a “buy product thanks for your support” button linking to the vendor.[32][33] From mid-2025, TMK's weekly giveaways were open only to “those who support us by purchasing products through our affiliate links”.[34]

7Box, from July 2025. This was a monthly box of other brands' products, sold as “a 50 monthly subscription containing over 120 worth of tmk approved 7 oh mitragynine products”, with checkout through “one of our longtime affiliates eluxir”.[11] When it launched, TMK said “we are not transitioning into a product company”.[35] On the page's own FAQ it answered its own question: “does tmk plan to launch its own 7 oh brand no again that is not our mission nor our specialty nor our interest”.[11] In September 2025 a buyer complained about a box that was paid for and late.[36]

The 7Box page in August 2025: Introducing 7Box, a monthly subscription of TMK-approved 7-OH and mitragynine products, 500 spots, with an order button and the note You will be taken to our fulfillment partner, Eluxir, to complete checkout.
Figure 3. August 2025: the subscription box of other brands' products, checked out through Eluxir. Further down, the same page says TMK has no plan to launch its own brand. [11]

Its own tablets, from January 2026. Five months after the box page, TMK posted “we are selling our own tabs now”.[21] The launch page was headed “if you want it done right do it yourself”, said “for every 12 bottles of tmk tabs we sell that covers the cost of one new test result”, and had “secure checkout via our e commerce partner eluxir”.[12] Two days before that page was archived, the site's FAQ still answered “does testmykratom sell kratom products no we do not sell kratom products directly”.[17] The bottles are labelled “Dietary Supplement” (figure). The FDA's position since July 2025 is that “7 oh is not lawful in dietary supplements and cannot be lawfully added to conventional foods”.[37]

The TMK Tabs page in January 2026: Introducing TMK Tabs, 40mg, 2 flavors, 1 mission: Keep 7-OH safe and legal, a Buy Now button, and two bottles labelled TMK Blue Razz and TMK Unflavored, each reading 2,000 mg Total 7-hydroxymitragynine and DIETARY SUPPLEMENT.
Figure 4. January 2026, five months after the box page: the service's own tablets, bottled as a dietary supplement. [12]

What it sold

TMK Tabs. 7-OH tablets from 10 to 60 mg in many flavours, January to October 2026. TMK graded them on its own site, on the same layout and with the same affiliate notice as the brands it graded: “buying from our affiliate links helps us fund more tests and keep tmk running”.[38] Most of its own results were within 10% of the label. One was not. In July 2026 it sold “tmk's 1st f rated product”, a 40 mg Loaded Mango tablet with a “lab result 61 52mg per tablet”, about 54% over the label, and it said so when it put the tablet on sale.[39] In June 2026 a buyer complained that the service “multiple times now have released batches without labs”.[40]

TestMyKratom's results page for the brand TMK in January 2026: the 40mg Blue Razz 7-OH tablet, grade A, 41.91mg, accuracy 100%, batch 2025-12, with the note We backed up our 7-OH claim completely.
Figure 5. The service grading its own tablet, January 2026: an A, on the same page layout and with the same affiliate-link notice as the brands it competes with. [38]

Other brands' tablets in TMK bottles. In August 2026 a buyer posted: “i just received the lemon mint 30mg party pack and i kid you not the tabs i ordered says” JUBI on them.[41] TMK replied a week later. The Tropic Thunder tablets “with a z on them are from zohm”. The 30 mg lemons “are from a brand called jubi”. The 60 mg tablets “we are selling are from ultra seven double stacks”, and “ultra seven is advertising these as 80mg tabs”. TMK said its manufacturer had been left with orders those brands never paid for. It admitted “we did not catch that a few of them carried another brand's markings before we packaged them” and concluded “all of these tabs are tmk tabs regardless of who ordered them”.[15] One buyer's verdict was “they are just cheap smoke shop tabs tbat were repackaged”.[42]

TMK said every batch is tested by both labs: “our manufacturer uses sd pharm for lab testing and we use nn analytics”. Where the two labs disagreed, it labelled to the lower figure: “we could have labeled our blue steel bottles as 50mg since they tested at 51mg from nn”.[15] The certificates bear this out. NN measured 50.05 mg of 7-OH per Blue Steel tablet,[14] and PharmLabs measured 43.49 mg in a sample it names as “light blue arctic mint”,[16] so two accredited labs differed by about 13% on one batch. On the 60 mg Watermelon tablets the two labs agreed, with NN at 58.82 mg and PharmLabs at 57.61 mg.[43][44] The PharmLabs certificate TMK posted for that tablet names the sample “ktm tablet di6wa03 n3879 4297 pink fruit punch”, leaves the customer field empty, and carries the note “coa update 7 13 26 tested for corrected as per client request”.[44]

Figure 6. The manufacturer's lab certificate TestMyKratom posted for its 60 mg Watermelon tablet: the sample is a Pink Fruit Punch tablet, and the customer field was blanked at the client's request. The service said these were Ultra Seven Double Stacks. [44]

TMK x Omega Extrax Strawberry Tarts. On 9 September 2026 TMK announced “tmk x omega extrax strawberry tarts yes you read that correctly”.[45] A month earlier it had written that “industry giants like omega extrax and 7ohmz have already closed their doors”, and that “i ordered more tabs in july than in any month in our history”.[46] Two days after the announcement, the Omega Extrax account posted that “a certain large vendor has stolen our name brand and designs”, and that “we have nothing to do with this we have never even spoken to them before”.[47] A buyer posted that he had been banned from r/testmykratom because “their mods didnt like me quoting andrew”, the store's owner.[48] Our Omega Extrax dossier has the rest. We did not find TMK's own account of where these tablets came from.

Reset. This is a tolerance product sold from mid-2026 under its own Reddit account. In July 2026 a buyer reported that “raw decided to test tmks new product” and that RAW's laboratory had found SR-17018 in it. Buyers relayed TMK's reply: “reset is not sr17 we gave nn the reference sample so that they could actually test for it analogs routinely test positive”.[49] TMK's long post on Reset in August 2026 begins “as tmk we're not able to specify what reset is or recommend anyone take it”. It says “a tmk product where we refuse to name the ingredient feels wrong”, and “reset is not sr 17 it's a different molecule and we made it ourselves”. It gives as its reason that “we're securing a patent for the technology”.[50] The service's Reset account pointed doubters to it: “we just published a lengthy and comprehensive post about reset”.[51] It reports a self-recorded study in which “189 people did exactly that”, while saying “we never told anyone to take reset”.[50] TMK said a placebo arm went to trial participants only: “we've sent out maybe 20 packs of placebo reset”.[52] Buyers' objection was simpler. One wrote that the service “won't tell people what reset is”.[53] A service whose stated purpose is checking that labels are true sold a product whose label does not name its contents. Nothing here identifies the compound. What is in Reset is unknown to us, and its legal status is unknown to us for the same reason.

What buyers report

Method: on 2026-10-17 we searched 33 local Reddit archives (the 7-OH and MGM-15 subreddits) for “TestMyKratom” or “TMK”, and dumped all of r/testmykratom from the Arctic Shift archive. That gave 2,494 posts by 1,022 authors, 794 of them in r/testmykratom, which the service moderates. The service's own account posted 205 times in the other subs. We read every post title from 10 January 2026, when the tablets launched (1,738 posts), and opened the threads cited here.

  • Trust and conflict of interest run through the whole period. In 2025 one buyer wrote “even if they aren't the same company tmk is still sketchy as hell”.[54] After the tablets launched, a buyer put it this way: “it is possible for tmk to be 100 legit and also have a conflict of interest”,[55] and another wrote “tmk rating their own tablets and competitors makes a double standard very likely”.[29]
  • Delivery. In late August 2026 orders sat at “label created”. TMK replied “we had some technical issues with fulfillment” and promised bonus tablets.[56] In September several buyers counted short bottles of the 16 mg Orange Freedom tablets. TMK confirmed that “our co packing partner put 101 tabs instead of 111 tabs in the bottles” and offered a discount code worth more than the shortfall.[57] One buyer wrote that a customer-service text reply was “the most rude condescending thing i have ever experienced in customer service”.[58]
  • Weak or suspect tablets. These are single reports, none of them tested. One buyer said a bottle of Red White & Blue had “zero effect”.[59] In October another said of tablets that changed colour between orders: “i would immediately stop ordering from tmk if i was reading this”.[60]
  • Praise is easy to find in r/testmykratom: titles thanking the service, ranking its tablets first, and crediting Reset with helping people taper. The service moderates that subreddit, so its tone is not a sample of buyers.

Regulatory and legal

We found no FDA warning letter, state action or lawsuit naming TestMyKratom or TMK. On the record, two brands it graded, Eat Ohmz and RAW, sent it cease-and-desist letters,[30][25] and Omega Extrax objected publicly to the use of its name.[47] FDA's position on 7-OH as a dietary supplement is quoted above.[37] In October 2026 the site announced that “tmk tabs are coming to an end and we re placing our final order this week”.[61]
