Simply 7OH and DollarTabs.com: the Rochester 7-OH shop, its dollar tablets, and the lawsuit

Who they say they are, and what the record says

Simply 7OH sells 7-OH, the concentrated kratom-derived opioid, as flavoured tablets and as powder, by mail from Rochester, New York. Buyers call it Simply, Simply7oh, Simply 7 or S7. From the summer of 2025 it also sold through a second storefront named after its cheapest product, DollarTabs.com. Its own pages name no company: the terms say only that “this website is operated by simply 7oh”.[1] The domain simply7oh.com was registered on 2024-06-11, with the owner's details not shown.[2]

The company is East Coast OH LLC. New York's register shows “current entity name east coast oh llc initial dos filing date 2024 06 04”, a week before the domain, with a commercial registered agent and no members listed.[3] Buyers learned the name from their bank statements, “i know simply7oh shows up as something like eastcoastoh”,[4] and from each other: a regular customer told a worried buyer that the name “is how it should appear as a charge”, and the buyer answered “ya i just realized that its east coast oh”.[5] A lawsuit filed in Colorado in June 2026 names the “defendant east coast oh llc d b a simply 7oh”, with its “principal place of business located at 1100 university ave suite 305 rochester new york 14607”.[6] From late 2025 the shop's own footer gave the same Rochester address, “rochester ny 14607”.[7] Buyers placed it in New York from the first month: “what state do they ship out of thanks in advance new york”.[8]

The shop's blog is signed with two first names, and its YouTube channel, @Simply7OH, carried new releases, prize draws and videos by the owners.[9] Buyers were told to “follow their yt channel and you'll see these things”.[10]

Before Simply. A shop called Sheer 7oh sold blister packs of 20 mg tablets in 2024 from sheer7oh.com, registered on 2024-05-10.[11] Its pages said “our chewable tablets contain 20mg of pure 7 oh” and listed a “sheer 7oh full box 36 tablets”. Its tagline was “sheer 7oh premium 7 oh with exceptional purity potent effects and trusted by enthusiasts worldwide for unparalleled quality”, and its FAQ promised to “experience the remarkable effects of this distinctive alkaloid designed to provide you with a potentially enjoyable experience for a lifestyle that truly stands out”.[12] Simply 7OH's home page in December 2024 carried the same FAQ sentence word for word, and the same tagline with one word changed: “simply 7oh relaxation made simple premium 7 oh with exceptional purity potent effects and trusted by enthusiasts worldwide for unparalleled quality”.[13] In February 2025 a buyer wrote that “the name of their company on the payment receipt was sheer 7oh”, that tablets from a Simply giveaway were “the exact same crusty old tabs from sheer 7oh”, and that on a later order “i made another purchase not too long ago and they changed their name to” East Coast OH LLC.[14] We did not see the receipt. The shared copy is on the record; the shared owner is not.

DollarTabs.com. The second storefront's domain was registered on 2025-06-21,[15] the day Simply's own dollar tablets went on sale. New York's register shows “current entity name generic ventures llc initial dos filing date 2025 06 23”, two days later, with the same registered agent as East Coast OH.[16] The storefront's footer reads “generic ventures llc p o box 10309 rochester ny 14610”.[17] It does not mention Simply 7OH. Its first certificate, from the laboratory Simply used, was “tested for dollartabs com”, with a laboratory note that the client name had been “corrected as per client request”.[18] Buyers made the connection from the parcels. In July 2025 one wrote “another guy on the sub was saying they both ship out of rochester”,[19] and another “they both ship from rochester and the tabs i got from each look exactly the same”.[20] In November a buyer of 300 dollar tablets wrote that he had bought them “not realizing that they're the same tabs as simply until i got an email about my package arriving from east coast oh llc”.[21] Another preferred the second sender name: “i like how the sender address is generic ventures i was not a fan of having the sender as east coast oh”.[22] By 2026 buyers took it as settled: “they are basically the same as simply 7oh”.[23] We treat the two storefronts as one operation.

A name shared with another brand. Simply7, without the OH, is also a separate smoke-shop tablet brand. When TestMyKratom posted its results, a buyer wrote “not to be mixed up with simply 7oh”.[25] Its tests of that brand, such as “simply7 lemon mint tablets contained 11 27mg of 7 hydroxy which was about 37 weaker than its 18mg claim”, are not counted here.[26]

What they sell

Tablets. The shop opened with 20 and 30 mg tablets and tablets blending 7-OH with pseudoindoxyl, a compound 7-OH rearranges into. In December 2024 the list began with “30mg 7oh tablets blue razz 24 99 ndash 419 99”, that is $24.99 to $419.99 by pack size, beside resold kratom shots such as “kratom mit45 the gold standard of kratom”.[13] Its About page said “our 7oh kratom extracts are carefully formulated with 7 hydroxymitragynine and pseudoindoxyl delivering a fast acting powerful effect”.[28] By October 2025 the tablets ran from 12 to 80 mg, such as “80mg 7oh tablets pina colada”, with “nano” tablets, such as “15mg nano 7oh tablets raspberry”, and blends such as “30mg 15mg pseudo 15mg 7oh blend tablets chocolate mint”.[29] A buyer in February 2025 counted the prices at “4 a pop for basic 20s 5 a pop for his 30 blue razz”.[30]

Dollar Tabs. In June 2025 the shop began selling 12 mg tablets in packs of 100 for $100. A buyer wrote on 2025-06-07 “i placed an order for 100 12mg”;[31] by October the home page led with a banner reading ONE DOLLAR TABS and the listing “dollar tabs 100 pack 12mg 7oh tablets lemonade 100 00 ndash 500 00”.[29] DollarTabs.com sold “12mg 7oh tablets 100 ct rated 4 89 out of 5 based on 61 customer ratings 100 00”, a “dollar tab trio 300 ct” and “80mg 7oh tablets pomegranate 25 ct”, under the line “free same day shipping premium usa made 7oh lowest prices online”.[24] At a dollar for 12 mg, the price is a fact about the dose: the independent tests below found 7 and 8 mg.

Powders. Powders were sold by their stated purity and named like trading cards: “7 oh sands of anubis 91 93 7oh extract powder” in February 2025,[27] “7 oh white tiger 99 99 7oh extract powder” by October.[29] A July 2026 sale offered “simply 7 oh half o 85 percent powder for 350 no labs”, a buyer wrote.[32]

Pseudoindoxyl, mitragynine and MGM-15. From 2025 the shop sold pseudoindoxyl on its own, such as “pseudo voodoo doodoo 74 pseudoindoxyl powder”, and mitragynine tablets labelled for Florida, “florida compliant 50mg mitragynine tablets lemon mit”.[29] In January 2026 a pseudoindoxyl powder was labelled the same way: “florida compliant dream reaper 84 pseudoindoxyl powder”.[7] By then it also sold leaf kratom, “florida compliant red maeng da natural kratom powder 250 grams”.[7] DollarTabs.com sold an “84 pseudoindoxyl powder 1 gram” and “50mg mit lemon 100ct”.[33] In 2026 the shop added MGM-15, a semi-synthetic opioid made from mitragynine: “15mg mgm15 tablets concord”, “dosage 15mg of mgm15 per tablet do not exceed one tablet daily”, “engineered using 99 pure mgm15 and manufactured in a pharmaceutical grade environment”, sold in a bag marked “not child proof”.[34] A buyer of its MGM-15 powder in August 2026 noted “there's no coa for their mgm powder either”.[35]

Games. Orders over $100 came with collectible cards; one shows the owner of a rival shop as “john the alchemix”,[36] another lampoons a critic of 7-OH, a buyer explaining that “he is a youtuber with content of a” former drug user.[37] The shop ran a “weekly giveaway”,[27] sold tickets in a “women s appreciation charity raffle huge prizes”,[38] and put an arcade game on its site: “join brian the ups legend in his chaotic quest to deliver your 7oh tabs”.[39] One buyer's view of the raffle was “luckily 100 percent of the proceeds go to women's domestic violence shelters”.[30]

What buyers report

We searched the local Arctic Shift archive of the 7-OH, MGM-15 and kratom subreddits on 2026-10-17 for the shop's names and DollarTabs.com, leaving out “dollar tabs” used for other shops' cheap tablets, and found 1,332 posts by 779 authors from 2024-11-05 to 2026-10-16, 903 of them in r/7_hydroxymitragynine. 955 of the posts name the shop unambiguously; 377 say only Simply 7 or Simply7, and some of those are the smoke-shop brand. 131 posts by 86 authors fall in the 90 days to 2026-10-16. The archive holds posts, not comments, so a mention only in a comment is not counted. We read with their comments the 54 threads that name the shop in the title and have 40 or more comments.[40] Counted by what the opening post describes, a thread counting once in each row it fits:

Praise. The first post, on 2024-11-05, came from a buyer who wrote “my first impressions are the flavor is very good” and “i usually order from omega extrax”.[41] A January 2025 review said “this is not sponsored and i am in no way affiliated with this brand”.[42] When the shop emailed buyers about a weak batch of its 20 mg melon tablets, buyers praised it: “honesty and integrity go a long way in this business”.[43] By February 2025 the melon tablet was listed as “16mg 7oh tablets melon bliss”;[27] one buyer wrote “guess i don't know the difference in feeling from 16 20”.[43] DollarTabs.com had its fans: “i think dollartabs genuinely has some of the best tabs out there”.[44]

Weak tablets. Of the 10 threads on weak product, eight are from August 2025 on, after the dollar tablets. A buyer of the orange dollar tablets wrote “they seem to be weak as hell”;[45] of the apple ones, “definitely not close to 12mg no labs either”;[46] of a third batch, “you can take 10 at a time and still nothing”.[47] The largest thread, in August 2025, opened “spent 546 bucks on my first order of 500 12 mg tabs” and added “i tried to leave a review on the website but guess what you cant”.[48] In December 2024 a buyer of the blue tablets complained that “it has blue dye and sugar”, and wanted to know how much sugar.[49] In January 2025 a buyer posted the shop's email saying his 30 mg tablets had tested at 27 mg and were within 10%: “they say it's only 27mg but it's within 10 so it's ok to mislead”, and “simply won't put my review on their site because it's not a 5 star”.[50]

Short counts and weights. In July 2025 a DollarTabs buyer “got shorted 4 tabs but maybe they do it by weight”.[51] In November a buyer wrote “i order 2 grams of the pumpkin spice powder and i only received 1 gram”.[52] In August 2026, in the last sale before the DEA's order on MGM-15, a first-time buyer wrote “i ordered some grams of m with simply and each one came in at around” half a gram;[53] another weighed his and found “they each came in at exactly 1g”.[54] In September 2026: “i ordered 100 tabs and they sent me 40”.[55] In October: “film every moment of you opening your package i got shorted more than half my order”.[56]

Support. From November 2025 the shop required video for missing-product claims: “effective immediately all missing product claims must include an unedited unboxing video”, and “tabs must be counted on video”.[57] A buyer whose parcel stopped moving in October 2025 wrote that after two emails “they never responded”, and then “they finally responded with an ai auto response reiterating their 15 business days policy”.[58] A buyer who asked for a different overnight carrier found his account blocked: “well i looked it up and they suspended my account”.[59] In April 2026 a buyer sent the wrong count “tried to call them 10 times and was sent to voicemail two separate days”.[60]

Parcels. Most buyers praise the speed. The complaints cluster in the shop's final sales: in August 2026, with the DEA's order days away, buyers found labels “package cancelled by shipper”, re-sent by another carrier,[61] and one who paid full price wrote “i paid 640 for 9 grams literally hours before they started a blowout sale”.[62]

Harm. In February 2025 a buyer of a new batch of 30 mg tablets reported “nausea dizziness shortness of breath and weird body zaps”.[63] In June 2025 a buyer of the 18 mg strawberry tablets wrote “i ended up so nauseous and just queasy”.[64] These are one person's accounts each. A lawsuit, below, alleges far worse.

Lab results

The shop published certificates from the start, on a page that said “we rely on sd pharma laboratories the industry leader in third party kratom testing” and “we do not disclose expected results when submitting samples”, and that “our team all regular users of 7oh kratom products rigorously tests every new product and batch”.[65] In February 2025 its blog argued that “7oh testing is extremely unreliable”, that “vendors are not manipulating results they simply report what the lab gives them”, and that “residual solvent testing is far more important than small differences in purity”.[66]

What we saw on its own certificates. The certificate the shop posted for its 20 mg S'morez tablet, “sample 20mg s'morez”, “tested for simply 7oh”, “received feb 14 2025”, reports 18.12 mg of 7-OH per tablet (“0 008 0 025 3 48 34 84 18 12”). Its solvent panel reports methanol at 3,977.7 µg/g in a row whose own limit column reads 3,000: “methanol metha 1 176 3 92 3977 7 3000”. There is no pass or fail column.[67] The certificate for the “sample 12mg special”, “received jun 20 2025”, a week before the dollar tablets went on sale, reports 14.24 mg per tablet: “7 hydroxy mitragynine 7hmg 0 008 0 025 2 69 26 86 14 24 71 04”.[68] DollarTabs.com's “sample lemon lime 2”, “received jun 30 2025”, reports 12.04 mg: “2 32 23 15 12 04 60 03”.[18] These certificates are PDFs the shops posted; the laboratory does not publish an index we could check them against.

What buyers report. In November 2025 a buyer wrote of the strawberry tablets that “if you bought any strawberries from may to now you were using a lab he had up since march”.[69] Another scanned the code on a bag of 12 mg tablets and found “i scanned the bag for test results and they were results from june 2025 of a totally different product lemon”.[21]

Independent tests. TestMyKratom, a buyer-funded testing service, tested seven of the shop's products in April and October 2025. Two blends were near the label, “each tablet contained 28 53mg of combined 7 hydroxy and pseudo”. The rest were 21% to 33% under: “simply 7oh blue razz 7 oh tablets contained 23 76mg of 7 hydroxy which was about 21 weaker than its 30mg claim”, “simply 7oh s'morez 7 oh tablets contained 14 69mg of 7 hydroxy which was about 27 weaker than its 20mg claim”, “simply 7oh sands of anubis powder contained 70 83 of 7 hydroxy which was about 23 weaker than its 91 93 claim”, “simply 7oh primordial dust powder contained 65 67 of 7 hydroxy which was about 22 weaker than its 84 02 claim”, and “simply 7oh orange dollar tablets contained 8 02mg of 7 hydroxy which was about 33 weaker than its 12mg claim”.[70] Of DollarTabs.com: “dollar tabs pink mixed berry tablets contained 6 94mg of 7 hydroxy which was about 42 weaker than its 12mg claim”.[71] When the dollar-tablet results were posted, one reply was “no wonder dollar tabs and simply stopped putting labs up on their dollar tabs”.[72] The S'morez tablet the shop's certificate put at 18.12 mg in February tested at 14.69 mg in April. TestMyKratom earns from affiliate links and from 2026 sold its own “tmk sour watermelon dollar tabs”,[73] so on dollar tablets it is a competitor.

Regulatory and legal

The lawsuit. On 2026-06-02 two Colorado residents sued the company in Mesa County District Court, “date filed june 2 2026”, “case number 2026cv30275”; the company removed the case to federal court in Colorado on 2026-06-24, where it is pending.[6] The complaint alleges that “between approximately january 2025 and june 2025 plaintiffs purchased defendant's products”, that “plaintiffs purchased approximately 5 608 46 worth of defendant's products during that period”, encouraged by a points programme it calls “simply loyalty”, and that after one plaintiff wrote to the shop about severe withdrawal, “defendant continued supplying products despite these communications”. It alleges that the other plaintiff, in withdrawal in July 2025, needed “intubation and intensive care treatment”.[6] These are allegations; the company has not, on the public docket, answered them, and no court has found them true.

Marketing. The shop's blog said that “researchers find that 7oh binds to mu opioid receptors in the brain much like prescription opioids but it may reduce pain without the severe respiratory risks”,[74] that 7-OH “stands out as the best choice for effective natural pain relief” (“why 7oh 7 hydroxymitragynine stands out as the best choice for effective natural pain relief”),[75] that it “has shown promise in addressing issues that may contribute to tinnitus discomfort”,[76] and offered a taper plan “including how 7oh powder can support your tapering process”.[77] Its home page FAQ said “sedation at higher doses it may induce sedation making it helpful for those with insomnia or anxiety” and “mood elevation it can have mood enhancing effects potentially alleviating symptoms of depression”, above a testimonial reading “this might be the best 7oh i've ever had for pain”.[27] By October 2025 the testimonial read “this might be the best 7oh i've ever had johnny m”, without the pain.[29] Its MGM-15 page said “mgm 15 is known for its naturally extended arc”.[34] The About page offered tablets for “whether you're interested in kratom for energy focus stress relief mood enhancement or pain relief”.[28]

Legal status. The blog told readers that “at the federal level 7 hydroxymitragynine remains legal because it is not classified as a controlled substance”.[78] DollarTabs.com's refund page said “in accordance with fda guidelines for dietary supplements we cannot accept returns or offer refunds on any products”.[79] The FDA's position is that “7 oh is not lawful in dietary supplements”.[80] The shop urged buyers to “click here to visit save7oh org to help keep 7oh legal”.[9]

2026. On 2026-07-06 the DEA gave notice that it intends to place 7-OH above a set threshold in Schedule I.[81] In early August the shop's countdown timer was still running: “if you still want to make an order simply7oh still has the timer up”.[82] By then its MGM-15 page read “7oh tablets restocking periodically keep checking back”.[34] The DEA's temporary order on pseudoindoxyl, MGM-15 and MGM-16 took effect the day it was published: “this temporary order is effective august 26 2026 until august 26 2028”.[83] The shop had sold both, and buyers report a sale of its MGM-15 in the days before.[35] On 2026-10-14 the DEA published a second notice covering 7-OH and pseudoindoxyl.[84] In October 2026 buyers were still ordering 7-OH tablets from the shop.[56]

Payment. The shop's chargeback policy says that “initiating a credit card chargeback without first seeking resolution directly with us constitutes a breach of that agreement”, that “we may escalate the matter by placing the debt with a third party collections agency or pursuing direct legal action”, and that “your account may be permanently restricted from making future purchases”.[85] Its tablet refunds were limited: “refunds for tablets are only available if the product was damaged during shipping”.[86] DollarTabs.com: “refunds will not be issued for delayed shipments under any circumstances”.[87] A buyer who disputed a short order in April 2026 wrote “then i get an email saying they close my account because i charged back”.[60]

Age. Both storefronts used a one-click box for 21 and over; DollarTabs.com's asked “are you over 21 years of age”.[33]

A search of FDA warning letters for Simply 7OH, East Coast OH and DollarTabs on 2026-10-17 found none.[88]

Still open

Who owns East Coast OH LLC and Generic Ventures LLC. New York's register lists only a registered agent for each, and the shops name no person.

Whether Sheer 7oh was the same business. The shared copy is on the record; the receipt one buyer describes is not public.

What DollarTabs.com's first certificate said before the client name on it was corrected.

How the Colorado lawsuit ends. The public docket shows the removal and nothing after it.
