The long read
Who they say they are, and what the record says
Omega Extrax sold 7-OH, the concentrated kratom-derived opioid, as tablets, strips, a liquid shot and powder, by mail, from April 2024 until August 2026. Buyers call it OE, Omega or Omega Extracts. In the 7-OH subreddits it was the most-named vendor of all: 4,227 posts by 1,731 accounts name it (method under What buyers report).[1]
Its shop was omegaextrax.com, registered on 2024-01-25 with the owner's details not shown.[2] In March 2024 the page read “coming soon stay tuned for our grand opening sale”, above three stock testimonials from the shop template, one of which said “i really love how soft the leather is it feels and smells like quality”.[3] On 2024-04-20 a buyer posted that a vendor he had used before had emailed to say “they rebranded to omega extrax and have free shipping”. Another asked “are these the omega tablets that wg have”: before this shop opened, Omega was the name of a tablet sold elsewhere.[4]

Figure 1. The storefront in June 2024, two months after it opened: one product, a 15 mg 7-OH tablet sold as 7OHM. [5]
The site gives one legal name, “trade name omega extrax llc”, and an email address, and no street address.[6] Its terms say “you agree that the laws of the state of missouri without regard to principles of conflict of laws will govern any claim or dispute”.[7] Its laboratory certificates name the customer as Omega Extrax LLC.[8] We did not find the LLC in a state register. Buyers place the shipping in Kansas City: “they always ship from just outside of kansas city”, one wrote in February 2026,[9] and parcels that stalled stalled there, “my package has been stuck in kansas for the past two days”.[10] The store had no Reddit account until September 2026, when u/OmegaExtrax posted the statement described below.[11]
What they sell
Tablets. The first product was a 15 mg lemon tablet sold as 7OHM tablets.[3] By 2026 the lab page listed flavoured tablets from 7 mg to 80 mg: watermelon boosts, lemondrops, strawberry tarts, blue razz lemonades, berries and cream, cherry limeades.[12] The 50 mg lemon tablet was sold as “thai style tablets”.[13] Each tablet page says “we maintain an average of 10mg per tablet”, or 30, or 50, and “we have partnered with sd pharmlabs to provide our third party lab tests for each batch”.[14] The store did not press its own tablets. In September 2026 its account wrote that “we have never released tablets as the mg listed from the manufacturer”.[15] Buyers argued about the source: in 2024 one claimed that “everything outside of 7ohmz is made by the w lab”;[16] in 2025 another that “omega and 7ohhub are the same people selling the same tabs”, and a reply answered “you realize they don't press their own tabs right”.[17] Buyers also said the store's 2024 strips matched a wholesaler's (see our Pain Relief Kratom dossier).
The tablet buyers credit with the store's success was the 10 mg watermelon boost: “the watermelons are what really put them on the map”.[18] A standing code, “thankful15 for 15 off all orders no end date at the moment”, ran from late 2024,[19] and one buyer's account of the store's popularity starts with the “standing 15 discount made people feel like they were getting a deal”.[20]
Powders and MIT. Powders were named for stars: Galactic, Astral and Interstellar Glitter, Shooting Star, Star Cluster, Supernova. A February 2025 listing read “galactic glitter 71 7oh powder” and gave “7 hydroxymitragynine 71 46 mitragynine pseudoindoxyl 2 90”.[21] There was a “20mg 7oh 10mg pseudo lemon mint tablets”,[22] a mitragynine powder whose “current batch contains 90 78 mit”,[23] and 65 mg mitragynine tablets.
The Omega Shot. In 2024 the store sold a liquid: “a whopping 300mg of mit mitragynine and 15mg of 7oh gives you 6 servings 50mg mit and 2 5mg 7oh each”.[24] What a tester found in it is under Lab results.
What buyers report
We searched the local Arctic Shift archive of 33 subreddits on 2026-10-17 for “Omega Extrax”, “Omega Extracts”, “omegaextrax” and the initialism OE, from 2024-04-20 (the first post naming the shop) to 2026-10-13. 4,227 posts by 1,731 authors name it; 2,958 of them in r/7_hydroxymitragynine. The archive holds posts, not comments, so a mention only in a comment is not counted, and “Omega” alone was left out because in early 2024 it also named another company's tablet. We then classified all 218 threads with the store's name in the title and 40 or more comments by what the opening post describes, a thread counting in each row it fits, and read the comments of 58 of them, and of 21 more chosen for a topic (tests, harm, the statement).[1]

Praise is the largest group, and its subject is service as much as product. Extra tablets were the store's habit: a buyer who ordered 25 of the 50 mg lemons wrote, under a joking title of disappointment, “upon opening the package i found 53 lemon 50”.[25] Whether some of the praise was paid was asked from 2025. “just seems orchestrated last couple days”, a new member wrote in May 2025.[26] In April another claimed “there's a reddit marketing company you can pay to basically drive a narrative in any sub”.[27] We found no document behind either.
Strength. The most-read complaint was about the 50 mg tablets in January 2025: a buyer took “100mg of oe i had to go to my local shop”,[28] and in another thread a buyer who returned them wrote “and yes those 50s were not dosed correctly”.[29] The 50 mg certificate the store posted for that period is the draft shown under Lab results. In January 2026 a buyer of the boosters wrote “oe needs to post solvent labs”.[30]
Short orders. “52 tabs out of 100 i ordered”, in August 2025;[31] “our beloved omega extrax shorted me by 200 tabs”, in June 2026.[32] In April 2025 a powder buyer wrote “i've also been shorted 3x three thrice adding up to 6 grams of total powder”, which reads as 0.6 grams with the decimal point lost.[27] In December 2025 a buyer wrote “i just got an empty box”; replies doubted him, and the thread does not settle it.[33] Most short-order threads report the shortfall replaced.
Parcels. In November 2025 the store moved packing to an outside company. A buyer whose order missed its day dated the trouble to “the day they started using a third party shipping service”,[34] and by December another wrote that someone had “dropped the ball since firing the 3rd party carrier”.[35]
Harm and foreign matter. In October 2025 a buyer chewing a 55 mg tablet hit a piece of metal and wrote “i fractured my front tooth a bit”.[36] In July 2026 another “bit down on something incredibly hard”, spat out blood and what she took for glass, and named the tablet in a reply: “oe watermelon boost 10mg”.[37] The same month a buyer on immunosuppressants posted a tablet she took for mouldy and wrote “i contacted oe and they refused to help and even accused me of doing this”; a reply said “zerogpt says this pic is 97 positive for ai”, and she posted a video.[38] In August 2026 a buyer of the last lemondrop batch wrote “it made me physically sick to my stomach”; several replies said the same batch was fine.[39]
Payment. “my card was charged the amount 4 times”, a first-time buyer wrote in October 2025.[40] In 2026 a buyer complained “omega keeps declining visa vanilla gift cards”.[41]
Lab results
The store published a certificate for nearly every batch, about 160 of them by June 2026, from two laboratories: NN Analytics of San Diego in 2024, “we have partnered with nn analytics to provide our third party lab tests for each batch”,[42] and PharmLabs San Diego from 2025.[14] The lab page explains that “the dates on each lab is the day that we released the batch”.[12] In June 2024 a buyer complained that the store's NN Analytics reports were the same lab other sellers used: “the rubenstein labs that are given to sellers by the w lab can't be trusted”.[16]
We opened five certificates. Every one measures kratom alkaloids and nothing else: no residual solvents, no heavy metals, no microbes. The first, from May 2024, reports 17.43 mg of 7-OH in a tablet sold as 15 mg.[43]

Figure 2. The store's first certificate, May 2024: 17.43 mg of 7-OH in a tablet sold as 15 mg. The panel is alkaloids only; no solvents, metals or microbes. [43]
The certificate posted for the 50 mg lemon tablet in early 2025 reports 57.52 mg per tablet, but its reported date reads NA and its footer says it is a draft until it is signed electronically. The sample is a bag labelled by hand.[44] A signed certificate for a later lot, in June 2025, reports 58.71 mg.[45]

Figure 3. The certificate posted for the 50 mg lemon tablet in early 2025. Its footer says it is an unsigned draft, and the reported date is NA. The sample is a bag labelled by hand. [44]

Figure 4. A powder certificate from October 2025: 67.66% 7-OH and 3.12% pseudoindoxyl. Like every certificate we opened from this store, it measures alkaloids and nothing else. [46]
The store's own certificates show its tablets stronger than their labels on purpose. The October 2025 watermelon boost, sold as 10 mg, was certified at 14.07 mg of 7-OH.[8] A buyer asked “if your watermelon boost is testing at 15 mg why are you selling it as a 10”.[47] The store's account explained in September 2026: “we tested every single batch 6 7 times posted the average number”, and released each batch at a figure rounded down.[15] For a buyer, that means a tablet with 40% more opioid than its label.

Figure 5. The tablet buyers credit with the store's success, October 2025: sold as 10 mg, certified at 14.07 mg of 7-OH, 41% over the label. [8]
Independent tests. TestMyKratom, a community testing service, ran thirteen tests on twelve of the store's products between July 2024 and March 2026.[48] Its results:
- The Omega Shot, July 2024: “omega extrax liquid shot contained zero 7 hydroxy”, while “this shot has a large quantity of mitragynine over 340mg in the bottle”. A buyer reading the posted report wrote “it sucks the 7oh is undetectable thought lol”.[48][49]
- Mint strips, March 2025: 15.4 mg against 20, graded F because “it tested positive for isopropanol at levels that anresco laboratories deemed too high”.[48][50]
- Below the label by more than 10%: the first 15 mg tablets, “omega extrax tablets contained 12 5mg of 7 hydroxy which was about 17 weaker than its 15mg claim”; the 20 mg flat whites, “omega extrax flat white tablets contained 16 77mg of 7 hydroxy which was about 16 weaker than its 20mg claim”; the lemon tablets of October 2024; the lemon-mint pseudo tablets; and two powders, among them “omega extrax astral glitter 7 oh powder contained 74 7 hydroxy which was about 18 weaker than its 90 claim”.[48][51][52]
- Above the label by more than 10%, March 2026: “oe 50mg lemon tablets contained 59 50mg of 7 hydroxy which was about 19 stronger than its 50mg claim”, and the 60 mg cherry limeades at 70.45 mg.[48][53]
- Within 10%: the 20 mg strips of October 2024, the 20 mg classic lemons and the 30 mg strawberry tarts of March 2025.[48]
At their latest test, nine of the twelve products were more than 10% off the label, the shot by all of its 7-OH, and one strip failed for a solvent. One tested sample is one batch. TestMyKratom has its own interest here: from September 2026 it sold tablets under this store's name (below). In April 2025 a buyer who said he was an analytical chemist read the chromatogram on the store's own Supernova powder certificate and wrote “i've worked as analytical chemist and this does not look legitimate”.[54] We did not open that certificate.

The stop, and the name used after it
In October and November 2025 the store was out of stock for weeks while it moved its packing, and rumours ran ahead of it: “did oe really get raided by the feds”, a buyer asked; the replies said no, and the store reopened.[55] In January 2026 the site said “we are closed for the time being to catchup on orders”.[56]
On 2026-07-06 the DEA gave notice that it intends to place 7-OH above a set threshold in Schedule I.[57] On 2026-07-30 buyers reported that the store was “closing his business down after the 5th”,[58] and announced a final sale: “read the update for the discount code for 40 off”.[59] On 2026-08-04 a buyer found that “omega already has all products taken off of the site”.[60] By then, claims went unanswered: in August a buyer with a lost parcel wrote that the owner “hasn't responded to my emails in over a week”,[61] and in September another, “i want a refund but he's not replying”.[62] Some buyers explained the timing their own way: “he ran the money up got out when the feds came”.[63] We found no federal action against the store.
On 2026-09-11 TestMyKratom posted that “oe strawberry tarts drop tomorrow”.[64] Buyers quoted its email: “tmk x omega extrax strawberry tarts yes that's right”. The same day u/OmegaExtrax posted a statement in four subreddits. It said that “although we may not be actively taking orders”, “a certain large vendor has stolen our name brand and designs to market a supposed” collaboration, and “we have nothing to do with this we have never even spoken to them before”. It asked the reader to “consider this post a formal notice to cease and desist any unauthorized usage or suggestion of affiliation with omega extrax”. It did not name the vendor; the replies named TestMyKratom. It added two earlier cases: “another established vendor decided to copy our website and designs”, and “someone else did completely copy everything on our website”, at an address ending in .shop. And it said “my health has been drastically improving without the weight on my shoulders”.[11] Asked whether the tablets were the store's leftover stock, the account replied “we sold all of the strawberries we had”.[15]
Buyers who defended the sale posted a distributor's label: “looks like tmk distributor did sell omega overstock”.[65] In October buyers reported TestMyKratom selling them again, and one asked “how could these be restocked if the original run was because oe made a final order and never picked up”.[66] We did not find TestMyKratom's own account of where the tablets came from.
Regulatory and legal
The store's warning page said “any kratom product including products containing pure 7 hydroxymitragynine 7 oh and or mitragynine may cause addiction” and “we only ship to states regions where kratom is legal”.[67] Its 2024 home page told buyers “do not take more than 15mg a day”, beside the claims that its products were “pure alkaloids plant derived no harmful chemical” and, of 7-OH, that “it also doesn't activate the arrestin pathway like traditional opioids”.[5] Its tablet pages added that “in vitro studies show that mitragynine metabolizes to 7oh and it occurs in the body naturally making it a superior alternative”.[14] None of these pages cites a study, and none mentions FDA's view of 7-OH. Age checking was a one-click box: “age verification are you 21 years of age or older yes no”.[6]
When Florida banned 7-OH in August 2025 a buyer posted that the store had refunded his order, and a reply noted “florida banned it yesterday”.[68]
On 2025-07-15 FDA “announced seven recent warning letters sent to companies for illegally marketing products containing 7 hydroxymitragynine”; none went to this store.[69] A federal docket search for Omega Extrax returned nothing.[70] The DEA's notice on 7-OH of July 2026 was followed by a second notice on 2026-10-14 covering 7-OH and pseudoindoxyl.[71] In October 2026 the shop's home page still read “use code megathankful40 for 40 off your order” and “if everything is showing sold out we will likely open back up unless communicated otherwise”.[72]
Still open
Who owns Omega Extrax LLC, and where it is registered. The site gives a trade name and Missouri law, the certificates the same name; we found no state record and no address.
Where the tablets were made. The store said it bought them finished; buyers name a Thai source for the 50 mg tablets and others for the rest. Nothing we read settles it.
Whether any certificate measured solvents. The five we opened did not, and the lab page does not say any did.
Where the tablets TestMyKratom sold as the store's in September and October 2026 came from.
