Looper: smoke-shop hemp vapes, and nitrous tanks in the same livery

Who they say they are, and what the record says

Looper is two things that turn out to be one. In smoke shops it is a brand of hemp vapes, gummies and pre-rolls, most of them HHC with a little THCA and THCP. In r/NitrousOxide it is a brand of flavored nitrous oxide tanks, Looper Whips, one litre and 615 grams each. A Florida wrongful-death complaint filed in February 2025 puts the two together, and the brand's own boxes, logo and websites do too. The complaint. A class action filed in Orange County, Florida, on behalf of the estate of a woman who, it says, "passed away on november 22 2024 behind a smoke shop in orange county florida after inhaling n 0 products purchased from the same smoke shop", names seven shops and eight companies that make or import the tanks.[1] Two of the companies are Looper. Paragraph 18 says "defendant dimo hemp llc dimo is a distributor of cbd products vape products and nitrous oxide tanks under the brand looper whip", and that "looper is headquartered at 8549 wilshire blvd 5134 beverly hills ca 90211". Paragraph 19 says Fusion International Trading, LLC, "together with dimo looper is the manufacturer of nitrous oxide tanks under the brand looper whip", that "fusion international trading co ltd is located in shanghai china", and that "it also has a corporate office in los angeles california".[1] The complaint does not say which brand the woman inhaled. It groups the makers together and argues that the tanks "are distributed through smoke shops such as smoke shop defendants rather than restaurant supply stores".[1] These are a plaintiff's allegations, not findings.

The box. Buyers' photographs show what the complaint describes. A pallet of cartons posted to r/NitrousOxide in November 2023 reads LOOPER Whips, 1L tank, 615 grams, in Strawberry Kiwi and Original.[2] Along the top edge of each carton is a web address, looperverse.com.[2] That is the hemp brand's domain. A tank photographed in April 2025 carries, at its foot, the round pink-and-blue swirl logo that the hemp site uses in its header,[3][4] and the tank and the cartons use the neon cityscape art that covered looperverse.com from its first capture.[5]

The websites. Dimo Hemp came first. Its store at dimohemp.com was first archived in June 2021, a Shopify shop, its footer reading "dimohemp powered by shopify", selling delta-8 behind a 21-plus age check.[6][7][8] In May 2022 its About page said "dimo hemp is the best one stop shop for all delta 8 thc products based in southern california", and its menu read "shop dimo shop looper cannabinoids wholesale blog giveaways".[9] The home page that month sold "looper hhc pre rolls runtz", "looper thc o disposable vape gmo cookies" and "looper melted series vape cartridge skywalker".[10] Its terms say "this website is operated by dimo hemp".[11] By August 2024 the Dimo domain opened on a Looper age gate and offered "super looper disposables live badder disposables", with a sign-up box "to stay up to date with the most current looper news and sales".[12] The domain has since lapsed. It was registered again on 2026-05-27 through a drop-catching registrar and is now held by HugeDomains, a domain reseller.[13]

Looper's own site, looperverse.com, was registered on 2021-11-12 through DreamHost.[14] Its first capture, in August 2022, is a single page: "looper top quality alternate cannabinoids", a lab-results link, and "created for free using wordpress and colibri".[5][15] Its terms were the Dimo terms with the address changed, "questions about the terms of service should be sent to us at admin looperverse com" where Dimo's read "admin dimohemp com".[16][11] Its "Our Story" page says only "travel deep into our dimension so we can deliver the best alternative cannabinoid products".[17] The FAQ of 2025 calls Looper "a premium brand specializing in cutting edge cannabinoid products including disposable vapes cartridges edibles and drinks", and the footer reads "copy looperverse inc".[18] Neither site gives a street address, a phone number or the name of anyone who runs it. The only address on the record is the plaintiff's, a numbered suite on Wilshire Boulevard.[1]

The distributor. Two more records point to a third name. The laboratory certificates Looper posts for its vapes are made out to a client: "tested for l k distribution".[19][20] And in July 2025 a Looper blog post about Florida ended "for inquiries or product verification please contact sales lkdistro com".[4] The domain lkdistro.com was registered on 2021-10-24, also through DreamHost, nineteen days before looperverse.com.[21][14]

looperwhip.com. A domain for the nitrous brand, looperwhip.com, was registered on 2025-03-17 through GoDaddy, five weeks after the Florida complaint was filed.[22] The archive holds one capture of it, from the next day, and it has no content.[23]

What they sell

Nitrous oxide tanks. Looper Whips are disposable cylinders of flavored nitrous oxide. Nitrous oxide has a page on this site: nitrous oxide. The ones in buyers' photographs are 1 L, 615 g, in flavors including Original, Strawberry Kiwi, Sour Raspberry, Sour Strawberry, Blue Razz, Mango and Tropical Punch.[2][24][25][26] The label reads Premium EU Grade Nitrous Oxide E942, For Food Purposes Only.[27] E942 is nitrous oxide's European food-additive number; the maker, according to the complaint, is in Shanghai.[1] The earliest Reddit post naming the tanks is from August 2023: "full looper mango yet to crack".[26] They were sold in head shops and gas stations rather than online. "my head shop sells both", a buyer wrote of Looper and Galaxy Gas in January 2024,[28] and in May 2025 another compared "i can get 3 loopers for 85 or 1 box of 50 chargers for 24".[29] A buyer who wrote that "i got a looper 1l tank and it says" it was refillable came back with "yeah i read the tank wrong my mistake"; these are single-use cylinders.[30] The cartons carry the dangerous-goods markings, UN 1070 and the oxidizer diamond, and a packaging code that appears to read CN/C311318, a Chinese approval number.[2] The same number is printed on the box of HOTWHIP, a brand traced to a gas factory in Hunan. A shared box code points to a shared carton approval, not necessarily to a shared filler.

Hemp vapes. The vape catalogue has grown by series: Melted and Lifted Series 3 g disposables and 2 g cartridges, Looper XL, Live Badder, Super Looper 1 g disposables from 2024, and Looper Reserve from late 2024.[31] The listings say each product "is in compliance with section 10113 of the 2018 farm bill and contains 0 3 delta 9 thc".[32] The FAQ lists the cannabinoids: "looper products feature a variety of cannabinoids including thca d90 thcp and hhc among others".[18] These have pages here: HHC, THCA, THCP, HHC-P and THC-O. Dimo Hemp's own line was delta-8 and delta-10, and it offered "delta 8 delta 9 delta 10 hhc hhc o and thc o products".[9]

Names with no compound behind them. By January 2025 the site's cannabinoid menu read "d90 products thc a products thc b products thc h products thc p products thcp2 products thc jd products hhc products hhc p products 11 hydroxy hhc products".[33] The banner announced "super looper d90 now available".[31] Asked what D90 is, the FAQ answers "d90 is a proprietary cannabinoid known for its strong effects and smooth experience".[18] It gives no structure, no chemical name and no reference, and neither D90 nor THC-JD nor THCP2 is a name this site can match to a compound.

Gummies, sodas, syringes. The FAQ says "we offer thc infused gummies and d9 sodas in flavors like grape orange and pineapple".[18] By January 2026 shops carried a Looper Booster Shot, a 3 ml syringe labelled THCA, HHC and THCP.[34] Retailers carry the brand widely; Kures, for one, lists "looper blazed gelato hybrid 1000mg".[35] A smoke-shop cashier told one buyer in 2024 that "the cashier told me looper was the most popular", in the buyer's words.[36]

What buyers report

Thirteen subreddits in the local archive were searched on 2026-10-11 for posts whose title or text names Looper: 112 posts from 2023 to 2026, some of them about an unrelated e-liquid of the same name. Forty-nine threads about this brand were read with their comments, 15 about the nitrous tanks and 34 about the hemp products.[37] A thread can fall into several groups.

The tanks. Opinion is split along the usual line. "looper over galaxy all the way", one buyer wrote;[28] another, "looper and galaxy are almost indistinguishable";[26] a shop owner's ranking put it fourth of five, "4 looper flavors are too strong but good gas".[38] The flavors draw most of the complaints. "i get headaches off most looper flavors", and "sour strawberry made my lungs hurt like a mf", two readers answered a buyer in December 2024.[24] Under the pallet photograph a reader asked "am i the only one really turned off by the fact that they went out of their way to flavor nitrous oxide", and another wrote "they need to stop with the flavored shit".[2] In June 2026 a buyer called a tank "this shit feels like the reggie equivalent nitrous".[39]

An injury. In August 2024 a buyer wrote that on a Blue Razz tank "the top piece of the nozzle broke off and nitrous started going everywhere", and "i burnt the shit out of my hand" turning it off with pliers.[25] Liquid nitrous released from a cylinder is cold enough to cause frostbite, which the deep dive covers. Another buyer found that "the mouthpieces that came with mine" did not work.[27]

Gone from the shelves? In November 2025 a buyer wrote "i bought my gas station out of them" and asked "have they been discontinued". A reader answered "this company is facing lawsuits currently for brain damage nerve damage and death".[40] The record read for this page shows one such suit, the Florida complaint.

The vapes. Many buyers like them. "their hhc is amazing and affordable at the shops around here", one wrote in 2023.[41] Readers who opened the certificates were mostly satisfied with what they found on contaminants: "looking at the coas for this company", one wrote, they are "surprisingly good all around".[42] Another said "it has full panel labs".[43] A reader in r/cleancarts disagreed: "this brand of hemp doesnt present sufficient testing to know if its clean".[44] One buyer took home a disposable from a corner shop and "got home found out the fucker was never filled"; the shop's second one was empty too, and the buyer suspected the shop rather than the brand.[45]

Allegations: who says what, why, and what we could check

That the labels oversell the minor cannabinoids. Several readers who read the certificates say the products are mostly HHC whatever the box leads with. "they lie on the packaging about the percentages", a buyer wrote in 2024 of a line sold as high in THCA, and a reader who opened the linked certificate replied "if we are to believe the labs you posted then it" was "only 2 3 on both the thcp and thca", and "mostly hhc".[46] Of an earlier vape: "about 2 3 thca and d9thcp the rest hhc".[43] Of the gummies: "mostly hhc and d8 hardly any d9".[47] What we could check is in Lab results below: on the one certificate read in full, they are right.

That some cannabinoids on the boxes do not exist. Readers say Looper prints names that are marketing. Of an 11-hydroxy claim in 2024: "nobody is selling 11 hydroxy yet they just slap that on for marketing", and "labs claim it" is "mostly hhc anyway".[48] In 2026: "marketing nonsense like claiming it has 11 oh thc when it" does not,[49] and, from a reader describing talks with the brand's sales side, "making up cannabinoids" to sell new lines to shops.[34] What we could check: the site's own menu sells D90, THC-JD and THCP2,[33] and the only definition it gives of D90 is that it is proprietary.[18] Whether the brand sells 11-hydroxy anything that a laboratory has found was not checked for this page.

That some of the praise on Reddit is promotion. In 41 minutes on 2025-05-09 three new accounts posted five Looper threads to r/altcannabinoids, among them "looperverse com has some of the best disposables in the game"; the subreddit's filter held each one because "your account does not meet our minimum karma level or account age requirements".[50] Four days later a fourth account posted that the brand "they sent this box".[51] A brand sending product to a poster is consistent with what readers suspect, and it is not proof of who runs the accounts.

Lab results

What is published. Looper posts a certificate for each vape, from PharmLabs San Diego, a laboratory with a California cannabis testing licence and ISO 17025 accreditation printed on the report.[19][52] The 2023 index lists Lifted, Melted, HHC-P, Looper XL, blunts, pre-rolls and edibles;[52] the 2025 index covers every series in the catalogue.[31] Dimo Hemp's own index used the same laboratory's sample numbering, for example "premium delta 10 cartridge gg4 sd211021 001".[53] The certificates read for this page test for metals, microbes, mycotoxins, pesticides and solvents as well as cannabinoids. No certificate, purity test or safety sheet for the nitrous tanks was found.

Against the label. The certificate for Looper XL Jealousy, reported March 13, 2023, reads "pharmlabs san diego certificate of analysis", "sample looper xl jealousy", "tested for l k distribution".[19] Its photograph shows the two boxes it tested, a 3 g disposable and a 2 g cartridge, printed THCP-O, THC-A, HHC-P. Its table finds 9R-HHC at 61.55 per cent and 9S-HHC at 27.59: "total hhc 9r hhc 9s hhc 89 14 891 41". THCA is 5.66 per cent, delta-9 THCP 0.87, the two HHCP isomers 0.97 together, delta-9 THC 0.29.[19] The table has rows for three acetate esters and finds none of them, and it has no row for THCP-O at all. HHC, the compound that makes up nine-tenths of the oil, is not among the three names on the front of the box. The certificate for "sample looper lifted series lava cake", from the same week, is the same shape, 84 per cent HHC with THCA and THCP.[20]

Nothing in this site's lab results concerns a Looper product.

Regulatory and legal

The Florida suit. Dial v. Fuego Smoke & Vape was filed in the Ninth Judicial Circuit, Orange County, and removed to the Middle District of Florida as No. 6:25-cv-00551 on March 27, 2025.[1] Dimo Hemp LLC and Fusion International Trading, LLC are defendants as "Looper".[1] The deep dive on nitrous tanks follows the Galaxy Gas defendants' motion to dismiss. The complaint is an allegation; nothing in the record read for this page decides it.

The FDA. The FDA's 2025 advisory against inhaling nitrous oxide names its brands as "products may be sold under the following brand names including but not limited to baking bad cloud 9ine cosmic gas euro gas exoticwhip fastgas galaxy gas goo sticks hotwhip infusionmax massgass miami magic monster gas nitrox whip it".[54] Looper is not on the list. No FDA warning letter naming Looper, Looperverse or Dimo Hemp was found.

States. In 2023 the site said "we will be unable to ship to the following states alaska arizona arkansas colorado delaware hawaii idaho iowa kentucky louisiana mississippi montana new york nevada north dakota rhode island utah vermont washington".[55] In July 2025 it announced that, "following a recent inspection at gator wholesale fdacs has verified that our products meet all current state compliance requirements", FDACS being Florida's agriculture department.[4] The department's own record of that inspection was not found. The FAQ restricts sales to "21 only we verify age before purchase", and warns that "even though our products are hemp derived they contain cannabinoids that can trigger positive drug tests".[18] Florida's 2026 nitrous law is in the deep dive.

Still open

• Whether Dimo Hemp and Fusion International Trading answered the Florida complaint. The docket after removal was not re-read for an appearance or a dismissal.
• Who L&K Distribution is. The certificates name it and the blog gives its domain; no corporate record for it was read, and it was not checked against the California or Florida registries.
• Who owns Looperverse Inc, Dimo Hemp LLC and Fusion International Trading, LLC. No state registry record for any of the three was read for this page.
• Who fills the tanks. The complaint names a Shanghai trading company. US import records were not searched.
• looperwhip.com. Registered after the suit, with nothing on it in the one capture.
