Daniel Trachsel — first synthesis, 20124-(2,2-difluoroethylthio) analogue, also called 2C-T-DFE. Named and discussed by Shulgin in PiHKAL but not synthesised then; Trachsel synthesised and tested it (12–30 mg). Sources cite his 2012 fluorine review and 2013 book, so 2012 is the first-publication year rather than a confirmed synthesis year.
