    Shulgin named 2C-T-16 in PiHKAL (1991) and got as far as the nitrostyrene intermediate but never completed the synthesis; Trachsel completed it and reported human data (10–25 mg, 4–6 h). From Helvetica Chimica Acta 86:2610 (2003), the paper of twelve novel 4-thio-substituted 2,5-dimethoxyphenethylamines.
