Daniel Trachsel — discovered its activity, 20134-cyano-2,5-dimethoxyphenethylamine. In the literature by 1984 and mentioned by Shulgin; Trachsel was the first to describe preliminary properties and effects in humans, in 2013. Not his synthesis.
