7-OH (7-hydroxymitragynine): experiences
This section is for first-hand accounts of 7-OH: concentrated 7-hydroxymitragynine products — tablets, shots, gummies — not traditional kratom leaf or powder. Those are different exposures, and mixing the two families of reports together is how people end up surprised.
Why this page is thinner than DXM's or MDMA's
The concentrated-product era is young: 7-OH tablets only became a mass-market item in late 2024, and the big experience archives have no dedicated 7-OH vault yet. Most first-person accounts currently live in kratom forums and comment threads, mixed in with leaf reports and, increasingly, with news coverage. That thinness is information. A substance whose experience record is mostly fresh forum posts is a substance whose surprises are still being discovered — including, in the clinical literature of the past two years, dependence and withdrawal that looks like classic opioid withdrawal.
How to read what exists
Product inconsistency dominates everything: independent testing has found 7-OH products carrying far more active compound than their labels claim, so two reports about "one tablet" can describe genuinely different doses. Read accounts of dependence and withdrawal with particular attention — they are the most consistently reported harm, and the least advertised one. The American College of Medical Toxicology's August 2026 position statement is the best current clinical summary of what case reports describe.
Nearby, for contrast: Erowid's kratom experience vault and kratom vault hold two decades of leaf and extract reports — useful background, but remember that 7-OH concentrates are not that, which is the whole story of this compound.
How to write one worth reading
Name the product form and the labeled strength, how much and how often, over how long — patterns of daily use matter more here than single sessions — what happened when you stopped or ran out, and what you'd tell someone holding their first tablet. If you went through withdrawal or got help for it, that account is worth more than any trip report. No sourcing talk, no brand recommendations — that is a line this site does not cross.
The dosage, interactions, and legal sections of this area carry what the evidence actually supports, with citations. This page is for what happened to you.
