Medicines nobody takes for an effect, and which therefore have no recreational class to be filed under. The rest of the tree sorts by what a substance does at a recreational dose; these have no such dose, so the families here are grouped by what they treat — the one axis the tree otherwise refuses. They are kept because they are what a reader is already taking: the daily tablet nobody counts as a drug until it is in the same body as something else.

That makes this subject largely a list of interaction mechanisms. Azoles inhibit CYP3A4 and raise the level of whatever is cleared by it; antiemetics and antihistamines add to QT prolongation; anticonvulsants move enzymes in both directions; several families here add sedation to anything already sedating. Anything with a recreational class went to that class instead — benzodiazepines, gabapentinoids and carisoprodol to Depressants, diphenhydramine to Deliriants — and the taper content belongs with them.
