The two grades are never combined. Ours is what the record shows; theirs is what people who dealt with this entity say.

  • Is there an identifiable legal operator: a registered name, a jurisdiction, an address that resolves?

no legal name, address or policy page on any archived page; registrant withheld; the 2025 certificates name a client, Nuu USA, that no search here identified

    Evidence: [1][11][2][4]

  • How long has it operated, by evidence: first archive capture, domain registration, oldest attributable post?

certificates from February 2024, domain from September 2023, archive from April 2024, Reddit from July 2024

    Evidence: [6][1][7][8]

  • Does it publish third-party certificates of analysis for what it sells?

certificates published, but the 2025 set tests only for psilocybin and psilocin among drugs; nothing for the tablets or Elevate

    Evidence: [13][4][3][6]

  • Where there are results, do they agree with the label, the marketing and the reported effects?

sold as amanita muscimol chocolate; a newspaper's lab found psilocybin in a bar; the gummies' own certificate shows 4-AcO-DMT; an independent 2026 test found 4-HO-MET, which no brand certificate tests for; the 2024 certificates' mg/g and % do not agree

    Evidence: [11][27][3][4][28][6]

  • Are contents and amounts stated on the product?

'proprietary mushroom nootropic blend', 'silly blend', '7 grams mushroom extract'; no compound or amount on the bars, gummies or tablets; Elevate names 7-OH and 30 mg

    Evidence: [20][22][12][16]

  • No disease claims, no 'safe', no borrowed botanical names for synthetic compounds?

a botanical name, amanita muscaria, on products whose tests found psilocybin and a synthetic tryptamine; 'magic mushroom' for products with no mushroom compound found in 2025 and 2026

    Evidence: [11][9][27][3]

  • Pattern of complaints about orders not arriving, long delays, no tracking?

sold mainly in shops; of 95 posts, none describes a lost order from the brand's own store, which was sold out in every 2025 capture

    Evidence: [30][10]

  • Pattern of complaints about wrong, inert, contaminated or mislabelled product?

95 posts, 2024-11 to 2026-09: 7 describe a weaker or changed product, 4 describe physical distress (more in comments, including a hospital visit), 3 ask whether a bar is genuine

    Evidence: [30][15][31][32][28][35]

  • Chargebacks refused, refunds unanswered, processors dropped?

the 2024 footer lists PayPal and Venmo; no post describes a payment or refund dispute

    Evidence: [11]

  • Warning letters, seizures, lawsuits, attorney-general actions, platform bans?

no FDA action, federal case or CFSRE report naming the brand, searched 2026-10-07

    Evidence: [36][37][29]

  • Is there any attempt to keep minors out?

a 21+ click-through by 2025, none visible in the 2024 capture; the box says 21+

    Evidence: [9][11][16]

  • Does it say what the legal status of what it sells is, honestly, where it ships?

a page on the legal status of amanita muscaria, which the tests did not find; nothing on the legal status of psilocybin, 4-AcO-DMT, 4-HO-MET or 7-OH

    Evidence: [38][9]

The long read

Who they say they are, and what the record says

Silly Farms sells chocolate bars, gummies and tablets in boxes printed "Magic Mushroom Chocolate", through smoke shops and head shops and from its own store at sillyfarms.co. It is not a hemp company. sillyfarms.com is somebody else's parked domain, and sillyfarm.com is a face-paint retailer in Florida; neither is connected.

The brand's domain was registered on 2023-09-25 through GoDaddy, with the registrant's details withheld.[1] The store is a Shopify shop. No archived page of it gives a legal name, a street address or a telephone number, and the archive holds no terms, privacy or refund page: its one capture under the store's policies address is a 404.[2] The certificates are the only documents that name a client. In 2024 they say "tested for silly farms".[3] In June 2025 all ten certificates linked from the site say "tested for nuu usa".[4][5] We could not identify Nuu USA. Florida's corporate file has no company of that name or of the name Silly Farms, and a web search returned only an unrelated Texas phone maker.

The earliest dated trace of the products is the brand's own certificates, received by the lab on 2024-02-05.[6] The archive first captured the storefront on 2024-04-20[7] and the earliest Reddit post naming it is from 2024-07-20.[8] The last capture of the home page is from 2025-10-06, when every product on it was marked sold out.[9] In September 2025 a buyer wrote that "every item on their site is out of stock", and another replied, "They conduct their retail and B2B sales on telegram".[10] The bars were still on shop shelves in 2026, by buyers' posts.

What they sell

Chocolate bars ("Silly Bars"). In April 2024 the home page sold "7 gram amanita muscaria muscimol extract chocolate", with the line "sustainably sourced magic our cocoa beans are responsibly harvested by fairies and sprites".[11] The Milk Chocolate page gave "ingredients 7 grams mushroom extract" and described "the infusion of amanita muscaria muscimol extract".[12] By October 2025 the same sentence read "indulge in the allure of our 7 gram silly farms chocolate", now with "the mystical essence of the magic mushroom".[9] The flavours on the certificates page run from Buttercup to Caramel Crunch.[13] Amanita muscaria is the fly agaric; its active compound is muscimol, which is not psilocybin and acts on a different receptor.

The Silly Farms home page in April 2024: a box of Cookies and Magic bars beside the heading Magic Mushroom Chocolate, text describing a 7 gram amanita muscaria muscimol extract chocolate, and a section headed Amanita Muscaria.
Figure 1. The home page on 2024-04-20, the archive's first capture of sillyfarms.co. The bar is sold as a "7 gram amanita muscaria muscimol extract chocolate". The box shown is Cookies and Magic. [11]

Buyers describe at least three boxes over time: an early one printed "magic mushroom blend", sometimes with an amanita sticker; a later one printed "silly blend"; and in 2026 one listing a "proprietary nootropic mushroom blend 14,000 mg", which a buyer found beside the "silly blend" box in the same shop: "My local shop has both".[14] One buyer, in July 2025, compared the two he had eaten: "These said silly blend instead of magic blend, and had completely different, much weaker effects".[15]

A Cookies and Magic box of Silly Farms Magic Mushroom Chocolate with a holographic sticker reading grams of mushrooms, a round silver sticker reading Hold phone for authentication, and a line reading 21+ not intended for under the age of 21. Net weight 2.29 ounces, 64.9 grams.
Figure 2. A Cookies and Magic box, photographed by a buyer in July 2026. The silver sticker is the authentication tag; the holographic one says "grams of mushrooms". The box names no compound. [16]

Gummies. Listed from 2024, among them "skittleburst gummies".[17] The archived product pages give no ingredient. The Skittleburst page linked a certificate (see Lab results). A buyer summed it up in February 2025: "the gummies are 29.8mg of 4-AcO-DMT with 3.7 per gummy".[18] The one customer review on the Paradise Punch page, archived in July 2025, reads "not amanita i thought they would be like the chocolate bars but i was super wrong".[19]

Silly Tabs. Tablets added in 2025: "333mg per serving natural binders fillers proprietary mushroom nootropic blend", with a dosing line, "3 tab the world might turn into a funky dance extravaganza".[20] No compound is named. A September 2026 review: "1 tab was comparable to 2g of good quality cubensis".[21] Nobody has published a test of them that we found.

Dubai Chocolate. "Ingredients 10 grams of silly blind", as the page spells it.[22]

Elevate. Five mint-flavoured tablets, on the 2025 home page under the heading "elevate 7 hydroxymitragynine elevate cherry mint".[9] The product page gives "ingredients 30mg per tab" and the same warning as the mushroom products, that people "who have taken or are currently taking ssri" may feel less.[23] 7-OH is the kratom alkaloid FDA calls "an opioid that can be more potent than morphine".[24] The card posted by a buyer reads "Warning! Mega dose, highly potent!" and "10 servings" over five tablets. One reply says "most definitely not 7oh" and describes a psychedelic effect.[25] No certificate for Elevate was found, so what is in it is not established.

Part of the Silly Farms home page in October 2025: a Silly Tabs section with four tablet products and an Elevate section subtitled 7-hydroxymitragynine with five mint-flavoured products, every one marked sold out. The product images did not load in the capture.
Figure 3. The home page on 2025-10-06, its last capture. New since 2024: Silly Tabs, and Elevate, subtitled 7-hydroxymitragynine. Every product in both sections is marked sold out. Prices blanked by us. [9]

Figure 4. The Elevate card as posted to r/7oh on 2026-01-05: "7-hydroxymitragynine", "30mg per tab", "mega dose". The card names 10 servings and shows five tablets. [25]

Lab results

The site's certificates page, archived in July 2025, lists ten chocolate flavours and nothing else.[13] Four sets of results exist for Silly Farms products. They do not agree with the label, and they do not agree with each other.

The Silly Farms COA's page in July 2025: a list of ten chocolate flavour names, each a link.
Figure 5. The certificates page, 2025-07-17. Ten links, one per chocolate flavour, all to June 2025 PharmLabs certificates. No gummy, tablet or Elevate product is on it. [13]

February 2024, the brand's own, Interstellar Labs. Three certificates for Milk, Cookies N Cream and Matcha bars, customer "SILLY FARMS", all carrying one batch number, SFM-BF0338, all received 2024-02-05. Each reports psilocin, psilocybin and ibotenic acid not detected, and muscimol at 7.09 to 7.13 in a column headed mg/g and 0.09 in a column headed %.[6] The columns do not agree: 7.09 mg/g is 0.71%, not 0.09%. The lab's printed email domain, interstellarlabs.co, was registered on 2024-01-05, a month before these certificates.[26] No other record of a lab of that name at the printed Nampa, Idaho address was found.

An Interstellar Labs certificate for customer Silly Farms, sample SF Cookies N Cream, chocolate, batch SFM-BF0338, completed 6 February 2024: psilocin, psilocybin and ibotenic acid not detected, muscimol 7.09 in the mg/g column and 0.09 in the percent column.
Figure 6. The brand's February 2024 certificate for Cookies N Cream, from Interstellar Labs of Nampa, Idaho: muscimol "7.09" mg/g and "0.09" %. 7.09 mg/g is 0.71%. The Milk and Matcha certificates carry the same lot number. [6]

June 2024, the brand's own, PharmLabs San Diego. The gummies: "silly farms premium microdose gummies skittleburst", "tested for silly farms". The only tryptamine found is psilacetin, which is 4-AcO-DMT, at 3.82 mg a serving and 38.15 mg a pack: "psilacetin psla 0 015 0 044 0 14 1 43 3 82 38 15".[3] 4-AcO-DMT is a synthetic prodrug of psilocin. The store was selling the gummies beside bars described as amanita.

A PharmLabs San Diego certificate, 13 June 2024, Silly Farms Premium Microdose Gummies Skittleburst, tested for Silly Farms: psilacetin 0.14 percent, 1.43 mg/g, 3.82 mg per serving, 38.15 mg per unit; four other tryptamines not detected.
Figure 7. The gummies' own certificate, June 2024: psilacetin, which is 4-AcO-DMT, 38.15 mg a pack and 3.82 mg a serving. The product page linked it. The gummies were listed in the same catalogue as the amanita bars. [3]

August 2024, the Los Angeles Times. The newspaper bought mushroom products in Southern California smoke shops and had them tested at Infinite Chemical Analysis Labs. A Long Beach clerk recommended them, "pointing to an oreo flavored candy bar with silly farms branding". The paper reported that "lab testing of samples from both brands later showed they contained psilocybin though neither said so on the package", and that "the website for silly farms chocolates mentioned only legal amanita muscaria extract as an ingredient".[27] The only Oreo-style flavour in the 2024 catalogue is Cookies and Magic, the bar on the April 2024 home page, and by its name the same flavour as the Cookies N Cream certificate of February, which found no psilocybin. Psilocybin is in Schedule I.

June 2025, the brand's, PharmLabs San Diego, client Nuu USA. Ten certificates, one per flavour. Each runs "res mibnig mto pes hme psy": solvents, microbes, mycotoxins, pesticides, metals, and one drug panel, psilocybin and psilocin, both not detected.[4] No certificate tests for muscimol, 4-AcO-DMT, 4-HO-MET or any other tryptamine. The certificates show what the bars do not contain. They do not show what they do contain.

A PharmLabs San Diego certificate, 18 June 2025, Cinnamagic - Silly Farms, tested for Nuu USA: psilocybin and psilocin not detected, followed by heavy metals, microbial and mycotoxin panels.
Figure 8. One of the ten June 2025 certificates. The client is "Nuu USA". Psilocybin and psilocin are not detected, and no other drug is tested for. [4]

April 2026, Tryptomics, for the moderators of r/mysterymagicmushrooms. A Cinnamagic bar, bought from the reseller GreatCBDShop. The certificate finds 4-HO-MET, also called metocin, and nothing else on a 13-compound tryptamine panel: 2.956 mg in the whole 57 g bar, 0.197 mg a serving. The moderator who posted it called the result inconclusive, because "the dosage is astonishingly low for a full product", and another moderator wrote "there is a large chance the primary compound is actually 4promet", a compound the lab had no standard for.[28] The post names its sponsors: Advanced Mycology, which sells competing XÜM and PLÜR tryptamine products, is the one "who paid for the lab testing", and "GreatCBD who provided the products to be tested".[28] Tryptomics prints on its certificates that it is not licensed by the State of Colorado.

A Tryptomics certificate produced 20 April 2026 for a Silly Farms Cinnamagic chocolate bar, client testmyshroomgummies.com: 4-HO-MET 2.956 mg per package and 0.197 mg per serving; twelve other tryptamines not detected.
Figure 9. The only independent test of a Silly Farms bar found here: Tryptomics, April 2026, Cinnamagic. 4-HO-MET, 2.956 mg in the whole 57 g bar. Paid for by Advanced Mycology, a competitor. [28]

Read together: the bars were sold as amanita; the brand's own 2024 certificates found muscimol in three bars; a newspaper's lab found psilocybin in a bar of one of those flavours the same year; the brand's gummies certificate found a synthetic tryptamine; the brand's 2025 certificates looked only for psilocybin and found none; an outside lab in 2026 found a small amount of a different synthetic tryptamine. This site's lab-results section holds no test of a Silly Farms product. CFSRE's May 2026 test-purchase report on ten mushroom products, which found a synthetic tryptamine in six of them, did not include Silly Farms.[29]

What buyers report

Most discussion is in r/mysterymagicmushrooms. Every post there in the Arctic Shift archive was pulled on 2026-10-07: 8,210 posts from 2024-10-24 to 2026-10-07, of which 95 name Silly Farms, 1 in 2024, 54 in 2025 and 40 in 2026.[30] All 95 were read and classified by hand; full comment threads were read for 34. "Silly Dots", a tablet brand posters treat as a different company, was left out. Counts are of posts, not people. Most posts buy in shops, not from the brand's store.

Questions about what is in the product, or how much to take: about 38. The commonest single question, asked in every year, is which compound a given box holds.

Own experience, positive: about 17. For example the tablet review above.

Own experience, weaker or changed: 7. All after the "silly blend" boxes appeared, among them the July 2025 post quoted above.[15]

Physical distress: 4 posts, and more in comments. In April 2026 a buyer who ate six squares described "vasoconstriction so bad" that he could not move for two to three hours.[31] Another wrote that on his last bar "chest got tight on the left side and felt heavy and had a 120 resting bpm for hours".[32] Under the lab-test post, one commenter wrote that a bar "gave me crazy chest pains" and another, of the same product, "It sent me to the hospital".[28] A shop owner described one 2025 peanut-butter batch that left a "chemical black pepper burn on the tongue".[33] None of these posts cites a test of the bar eaten.

Whether a bar is genuine: 3. The boxes carry an NFC tag and a scratch-off code. "The NFC code takes me to a berify website, but it says authentic", one buyer wrote.[34] Another, who wrote "I got this bar from my plug today", found a code that led nowhere.[35]

Allegations: who says what, why, and what we could check

  • That the same boxes are filled by others. A commenter in the thread on the lab test wrote that the brand's Telegram sells illegal psilocybin bars in the same packaging, and a reply said the packaging is bought in bulk and filled by whoever buys it. Both are anonymous, neither gives evidence, and neither says how they know. What we could check: the boxes do carry an authentication tag, which would make sense if lookalikes exist; the Los Angeles Times found psilocybin in a Silly Farms bar in 2024, but its sample came from a shop and the paper does not say whether it was genuine. We could not read the Telegram channel. No deduction rests on this.
  • That two other bar brands are made by Silly Farms. One commenter wrote "Rize and after hours are white label silly farms".[33] No source, no reply confirming it, and nothing in the records searched here connects the names. Not used.

If you hold a Silly Farms box, a certificate or a test result, rate the brand below or leave a note.

Regulatory and legal

An FDA site search for "Silly Farms" on 2026-10-07 returned no warning letter, recall or other action.[36] CourtListener searches of federal dockets and opinions the same day returned no case.[37] The brand is not among the products in CFSRE's May 2026 mushroom report.[29]

The site's page on amanita says "amanita muscaria is not controlled under the controlled substances act meaning it is legal to possess and sell in the united states", and adds that its compounds are not FDA-approved for eating, "so it is sold for ornamental or identification purposes only".[38] The page was written for a bar that the tests above did not find to be amanita alone. No archived page says anything about the legal status of psilocybin, 4-AcO-DMT, 4-HO-MET or 7-OH. FDA's position is that "7 oh is not lawful in dietary supplements".[24]

Age: the 2024 capture shows no gate. By 2025 the site opened with a pop-up asking visitors to confirm they are at least 21, answered with a button.[9] The box carries a 21+ line.[16] The 2024 store took PayPal and Venmo, by its footer.[11]

Figure 10. By October 2025 the site opened with a 21+ pop-up. It is a click: no date of birth, no check. [9]

Still open

  • Who runs Silly Farms, and who Nuu USA is. Searched: the archived site, the domain record, Florida's corporate file, a web search for both names. None names a person or a company beyond the certificate client field.
  • What is in the bars now. The moderators of r/mysterymagicmushrooms said in April 2026 they would retest for 4-PrO-MET once the lab had a standard. No later result was in the subreddit on 2026-10-07.
  • What is in the tablets and Elevate. No certificate, published or independent, was found for either.
  • Interstellar Labs. Beyond its certificates and its domain record, no trace of the lab was found.
  • Payment and delivery. No post among the 95 describes an order from the brand's own store going wrong, and none describes a payment dispute.
