TBK Yellow, formerly Blue MGMagic: a South Carolina MGM-15 seller under three names, its missing certificates, and what buyers report

Who they say they are, and what the record says

TBK Yellow sold MGM-15, a semi-synthetic opioid made from a kratom alkaloid, as powder by the gram and later as tablets. It began under another name, Blue MGMagic, and in its last months sold through a second shop called Smoke Fetish. Buyers call it TBK, TBKY, Blue, Blue Magic, and SF/TBK.

Blue MGMagic, July and August 2025. The first store was a Shopify site. Its privacy policy reads “privacy policy last updated july 2 2025”,[1] and on 3 July an r/mgm15 post announced it, “adding bluemgmagic com to the list of approved vendors”.[2] The front page sold “high purity alkaloids pharmaceutical api's reference standards not for human consumption”, and in the next line offered “fedex 2 day shipping on all mgm 15 orders over 150”.[3] The privacy policy's contact block gives a street address in Ladson, South Carolina, “ladson sc 29456”, and a Gmail address.[1] The footer reads “copy 2025 blue mgmagic powered by shopify”.[4]

A week after the launch, the account u/Ok-Mousse1442 asked the subreddit about the new store as if it were a stranger to it: “has anybody ordered or tried this yet”.[5] In August the same account posted that the “temporary site is bluemgmagic myshopify com password protected for now”.[6] By the end of August the store had stopped selling. A buyer quoted “an email last week saying they would be back up and running by the end of the week”.[7]

TBK Yellow, September 2025 to July 2026. The domain tbkyellow.com was registered on 2025-08-26, with no registrant in the record.[8] On 5 September Ok-Mousse1442 announced the rename in the store's voice: “for everyone who is misses us or is fed up with the cheap imitations”, and “tbkyellow dot you know the rest”.[9] Readers pointed at the July question. One wrote that “his post history shows he's clearly not blue”, and the account that had posted the launch notice answered for him: “that was the very first day the site was live was just trying to generate some interest”.[9] The next day a buyer confirmed it: “new site old vendor bluemgmagic has moved to tbkyellow dot com”.[10]

The new site was a BigCommerce shop, and it names an operator. Its privacy policy opens “privacy policy effective date 09 01 2025 tbk llc respects your privacy”,[11] and every page's footer carries “copy 2026 tbk llc” and the address “500 e mcbee ave suite 100 1288 greenville sc 29601”, a suite number at a downtown Greenville street address.[12] Buyers place it in South Carolina too: “they ship out of greenville sc”, one wrote in January 2026, adding of one order that “my label is from a coastal town in north carolina”.[13] Others tracked parcels from Charleston: “they dropped my package off and it hasn't moved from charleston sc”.[14]

Who is behind it. We could not establish that. The domain records name no one, and the South Carolina register of companies is where a filing for TBK LLC would show its organiser and agent. Buyers describe the seller's role in other sellers' supply, and they disagree. The MGMPF vendor account wrote that “tbk is the chemist that makes stouts mgm”.[15] A defender wrote that “he supplies stout alkz mgmpf and multiple others”, and another buyer answered that “he gets it from the same chemist as everyone else”.[16] A buyer in July 2026 said other sellers “supplied by the 2 guys that run tbk”.[17] None of them gave a document.

Smoke Fetish, July to October 2026. In July 2026 the store sent buyers to a second shop. “smokefetish shop is the site”, a buyer explained; the MGM-15 there was listed under another chemical's name: “it's the flash sale sodium borohydride for 40”.[18] Buyers were given a contact address at a different domain, “info smokefetishsc com”.[19] By September a buyer wrote that “tbk dissolved is now smoke fetish”.[20] The last capture of tbkyellow.com in the archive is from July 2026.

What they sell

2025. Blue MGMagic sold three things.[4] Its MGM-15 listing said only “98 salt isolate”.[21] Beside it were a 7-OH salt, “7 oh mtg salt 95 purity”,[22] and mitragynine, the main kratom alkaloid, as “mitragynine salt isolate 96 purity”.[23] For the first days the listings gave a price and no quantity: “they don't say how much you get for 85”, a reader noted on launch day.[24] Some early orders came with an unordered gram of 7-OH, “received my order plus a free gram of 7 oh surprisingly”.[5] The 7-OH went at the end of August: “they recently took their 7 down off their site”.[25]

2026. On tbkyellow.com MGM-15 stopped being called MGM-15 on the product itself. The page sat under “home shop all mgm 15 mitragynine alkaloid salt”, its title read “mgm 15 powder”, and the product was named Common Good Mitragynine Alkaloid Salt, described as “this is a 98 salt isolate we do not offer a warranty on this product”.[26] Mitragynine is a different compound from MGM-15, with a different potency. Tablets followed in the spring: “each tablet is 40mg of mitragynine alkaloid salt”, or a blueberry version where “each tablet is 25mg of mitragynine alkaloid salt”, and “this is a 98 salt isolate in tablet form”.[27] In June the banner read “check out our exciting new products sr 17020 and tablets in stock now”, and the home page also listed “quick view kratom tablets” and “quick view cbd tablets” with no contents stated.[12] A buyer's parcel came in “a bright yellow box that has this package contains mgm 15”.[28]

Synthetic opioids. The store sold SR-17018, a synthetic opioid-receptor agonist, with this description: “they are able to provide pain relief without the dangerous side effects associated with traditional opioids e g tolerance respiratory depression”.[29] Its sibling SR-17020 was described as “sr 17020 are fully synthetic small molecules”.[30] These are research compounds studied in animals and cells, and no published human trial supports that sentence.

After the ban. In September 2026 Smoke Fetish mailed buyers a product it called a replacement. A buyer pasted the listing: “a concentrated botanical extract combining corydalis yanhusuo and mitragyna hirsuta”, which “contains no mgm 15 mgm 16 or mitragynine pseudoindoxyl”.[31] It arrived “dark green brown and smells sorta like cannabis”,[32] and with it “another gram in a smaller container labeled 90hcp”. Some buyers said “neither of mine were labeled at all”.[20] Another described a sample “from smoke fetish formerly tbk saying it was an alternative for the ban”.[33] What 90HCP contains, nobody has said.

What buyers report

We searched the local Arctic Shift archives of the MGM-15, cats-claw and 7-OH subreddits on 2026-10-17 for every name above and found 249 posts that name the store, from 2025-07-03 to 2026-10-14, by 140 authors, with 4,580 comments: 134 in r/mgm15, 49 in r/MGM_Fifteen, 16 in r/dihydromitra, 15 in r/MGM__15, 11 in r/emgeeemfifteen and 24 in ten others.[34] Every thread was fetched in full. We read every passage that a keyword pass found (delivery, weight, effect, smell, harm, service, payment, testing) in context, and traced each complaint's author through later threads to see whether it was settled. Not every comment was read in full, so the counts are a floor. A thread counts once in each group it fits.

Praise. Most threads recommend the store. “the best mgm i have had since the first time that i ever had mgm powder”, a buyer wrote in its first week.[35] “jars are always fat and weigh over”, wrote another in October 2025.[36] In February 2026: “the product is of exceptional quality and the weight is on point”.[37] In August 2026: “it's the best m powder i've had”.[38] A buyer who had a parcel lost by FedEx said “they not only immediately sent me a replacement order they sent me extra for the hassle”.[16] Even a critic of its communication wrote “i am very satisfied with bluemgmagic and will continue to use them”.[39] The listing's own reviews include “tbk yellow is by far the best”.[26] One commenter defending the store in October 2025 wrote “i work for them”.[16]

Orders that never came. Eight buyers describe paying and receiving nothing, with no later post saying it was put right. In August 2025: “they never shipped my order from july 25th and i cannot get any response”;[40] “i placed an order for blue on august 2nd and never got it”;[39] “they stopped responding to my emails i haven't received my order”;[41] and “they just took my money made a label and didn't ship anything”.[6] In February 2026 a regular wrote “my order was cancelled buddy they didn't take care of me at all”.[37] In July 2026, under the title “may be exit scamming”, a buyer posted a bounce: “your message wasn't delivered to tbkadmin tbkyellow com because the address couldn't be found”. Others in the thread wrote “i ordered june 8th contacted multiple times absolutely nothing” and “it was never shipped been radio silence ever since”.[17] On the day after the DEA order, “i was shipped an empty parcel”.[14] Other buyers in the same threads received their orders, sometimes after a week.

Delays. Blue MGMagic shipped by FedEx out of South Carolina, and the first weeks brought a run of late parcels: “the south carolina fedex hub over there is fucking garbage”.[42] Through 2026 buyers report labels created days before a parcel moved. In February 2026 one buyer was told in writing of “a shipping delay due to the negative feedback they had received about the product they had”: the store held his order until it had a different batch.[43]

Weight. Fifteen threads report short weight or a short count. In July 2025: “only 891mg” in a one-gram jar;[42] in August, “it came out to 0 86 grams”,[44] and of a five-gram order, “the worst one being 87”.[45] In July 2026 a tablet buyer found the order was “not 40mg but 25”, and fourteen tablets short.[17] In August a parcel arrived open: “this is how my 10g from tbkyellow came lost 3g”, followed by “update no response whatsoever”.[46] Another buyer wrote that “my 60 gram order was not right they sent me 10 grams”.[47]

Effect and form. Eleven threads describe a batch that did little. The fullest is from April 2026: “this powder has the consistency of a dried spackle paste”, and “a stupid huge 750mg dose with the lemon juice tek hardly gave any effects”. In the same thread another buyer wrote that “my march 23rd order was legit one of the best batches”.[48] Asked about a strange taste in September 2025, the store told a buyer it was normal: “i called em and asked about it and was told that is normal”.[49] In August 2026 buyers said the salt they paid for was a different form: “it's freebase even though it's marketed as salt”.[38] Of the corydalis product, “it doesn't do anything”.[31]

Harm. Two buyers in one thread describe a burnt tongue: “it burnt the fuck out my tongue”.[50] One September 2025 post was titled “blue magic mgmpf jfaded and 7 waffle all 3 sold me mgm with fetty in it”; its body was removed, it had no replies, and no test was offered.[51]

Service. The 2025 contact form was a known problem. A buyer posted instructions for its send button: “it's simply invisible but if you press around the area”.[45] At least fifteen threads describe messages that went unanswered, and some of the same buyers later report a refund, a credit or extra product.

Paying. Blue MGMagic took cards through Shopify. When the store moved, a buyer noted that he “saw they accepted credit cards with the new site”.[52] In October 2025 a regular complained that “you raised your price when others dropped theirs”,[16] and that month the card processor stopped. A buyer quoted the payment page as saying “says tbk doesn't have a vendor certificate or something”,[53] and a week later another wrote that “it has been a couple weeks since their payment processor has been down”.[54] It returned in November: “tbkyellow is back payment processor is now live”.[55] In June 2026 orders paid by crypto and Venmo sat unconfirmed: “it still says awaiting payment is this a known scam site or what”. Another buyer complained that “they use weird code words instead of just saying mgm”.[56] By July cards were taken only on the second shop, where the MGM-15 was listed under a reagent's name: “so it is listed as sodium borohydride”.[17] The store's own policy is that “all sales are final we do not accept returns”, and “refunds will not be granted for ordering errors dissatisfaction with taste appearance or requests without documentation”.[57]

The subreddit dispute. On 2 April 2026 r/MGM_Fifteen removed the spackle-paste review with the moderators' note “attempting to scam members of the sub”.[48] Its author reposted elsewhere: “i got banned from the subreddit and their justification was that i'm scamming”, alleging that a moderator he named “is in cahoots with tbk yellow to delete any threads that call him out”.[58] The account he named had posted the November announcement that the store's payments were back,[55] and in June 2026 it told a worried buyer that “they were the first to sell mgm 15 last spring”.[56] What the moderators knew or were paid, if anything, the threads do not show.

Lab results

What the store posted. No certificate of analysis appears in any archived page of either store. On launch day a reader noted that “the site has three things with no lab results”.[2] In 2026 the MGM-15 listing carried an image named as a certificate, but the archive did not keep the image, so its laboratory and figures are unknown.[26] Buyers describe what it showed. In February 2026 an image post was titled “no on3 peeped the synaptex logo in the tbkyellow labs on the cap”, Synaptex being another MGM-15 seller.[59] In July another buyer wrote of “that last altitude lab coa that was copied from one of stouts coa”.[50] We have not seen either document, so both are recorded as buyers' claims.

Independent tests. Alkaloid Consumers, which buys vendors' products and sends them to Cora Science, has published tests of six sellers in this market. None is of Blue MGMagic or TBK.[60] This site's lab-results section holds no test of their products. No laboratory result for anything the store sold was found, so whether its powders were what the listings said is open.

Regulatory and legal

The DEA's temporary order placed MGM-15 in Schedule I nationally: “this temporary order is effective august 26 2026 until august 26 2028”.[61] A buyer whose order was dropped off on 24 August tracked it through Charleston the next days.[14] SR-17018 followed a day later, under its chemical name, 5,6-dichloro desmethylchlorphine: “this temporary order is effective august 27 2026 until august 27 2028”.[62] The store had listed SR-17018 in June.[29]

The site's statements about law were a line that “you must be 21 years or older to purchase kratom mgm and mitragynine extracts”, a warning lower down that the product is “not for use by individuals under 18 years of age”, and a list of places “we do not ship to the following states cities and counties in the us where kratom is banned”.[12] The home page also warned that the product “may cause drowsiness or mild euphoria”.[12] The privacy policy calls the range dietary supplements: “our products are dietary supplements”.[11] Blue MGMagic had called the same kind of product reference standards not for human consumption.[3]

A search of openFDA's enforcement reports and FDA's site on 2026-10-17 for TBK, tbkyellow, MGMagic and Renegade found nothing.[63] We found no court record or platform action naming either store.

Still open

Who TBK LLC is. The site gives the name and a Greenville suite, and the older store gave a Ladson address; the South Carolina register of companies is the place to confirm a filing, its date and its agent. What was in the certificate image on the 2026 listing. What the 90HCP sample contains.
