Overseas Organix (OO, Bulk7oh): the Brevard County 7-OH tablet house, the raid, and the six-year sentence

Who they say they are, and what the record says

Overseas Organix sells 7-OH, the concentrated kratom-derived opioid, as tablets and powder, and before that sold kratom leaf. Buyers call it OO; the press spelt it Overseas Organics. From 2024 it also sold through a second storefront, Bulk7oh (bulk7oh.com), whose home page said it was “powered from www overseasorganix com”[1] and which buyers treat as the same shop: one wrote in 2025 that “i ordered mgm15 tabs via bulk7oh which was fulfilled through overseasorganix”.[2] The Overseas Organix blog sent readers the other way: “go to bulk7oh for the best prices use code overseasorganix”.[3] Its own domain is overseasorganix.com.

The Florida register holds three companies at one Melbourne, Florida address. Overseas Organix LLC was filed on 2021-01-20 with Maxwell D. Horvath as its manager and registered agent; it went inactive in December 2024. Overseas Organix, Inc. was filed on 2024-12-13 and lists a different person as its chief executive. Bulk7oh LLC was filed on 2025-10-16, again with Maxwell Horvath as manager.[5] The Justice Department's account of the federal case calls the Palm Bay warehouse “overseas organix inc” and calls it Horvath's business.[6]

The shop started as a kratom seller. Its 2022 home page said “don't just buy kratom buy from a source you can trust”, claimed “overseas organix recognized by the american kratom association aka”, and promised that “we guarantee that all of our products contain 100 pure grounded kratom leaves without any additives”.[4] Its About page described “overseas organix is a family claimed and worked botanical items organization situated in melbourne florida” and said “10 of all benefits are sent back to south east asia”.[7] The first Reddit post naming it, in August 2022, was a buyer's delivery report in r/KratomKorner.[8]

From the capture of 2025-12-04 the storefront's footer carries an address in “north myrtle beach south carolina”.[9] Since January 2026 the shop has traded again, and buyers do not agree on who runs it. One wrote in February 2026 of emails saying the business was “being taken over by the owner's close friends”;[10] another, in September, that “the owner was never charged with any kratom or 7 charges pleaded guilty to weapons charges and got 6 years”. An account that announces the store's stock answered in the same thread: “the previous owners legal issues are as you've stated”.[11] We found no record that names a new owner.

What they sell

Kratom. Leaf powders, such as “kratom red maeng da”, were the whole catalogue in 2021 and 2022.[4] Mitragynine extracts followed: powders sold by percentage, liquid shots such as “m80 kratom extract shot 80 mit”, and “kratom extract tablets no 7oh just mit”.[9] By 2026 the shop also sold kava, such as “12 raw kava root”.[12]

7-OH tablets. By September 2023 the shop listed a “7 hydroxymitragynine 15mg 007 tablet”.[13] The 007 line grew to 5, 7, 18, 20, 22, 40 and 100 mg tablets, among them “7oh tablets 20mg delicious strawberry 7 hydroxymitragynine tablets”[9] and “7oh tablets 100mg high potency 007 series”.[2] In spring 2024 it also sold W tablets, a stamped tablet it did not make (see Lab results). Buyers likened the shape of its 2025 40 mg tablets to a prescription sedative bar;[14] a buyer who liked them wrote that “the tab shape appearance is wild lol probably not the best choice but they hit really good”.[15]

MGM-15. In October 2025, after Florida banned 7-OH, the shop added MGM-15 tablets, a semi-synthetic opioid made from a kratom alkaloid, under the line “shop mgm 15 tablets the new 7oh”.[9] An account speaking for the store opened a thread with “everyone here is angry at oo bulk7oh com for selling mgm tablets” and explained: “because we are selling mgm and advertising it as alternative to 7oh in banned states”.[14] A Florida buyer of the MGM-15 tablets found them sold as 15 mg: “all 15 mg tabs although the tabs themselves say 40mg”.[16]

After the search (2026). The reopened shop listed a “premium 84 7oh powder high purity alkaloid extract”,[12] and “lemon 7oh tablets 40mg high potency” whose ingredients begin “ingredients 70 90 pure 7 hydroxymitranine extract”.[17] By July 2026 the home page offered “high potency proprietary extract blend 40mg tablets”, without naming the compound.[18] In June 2026 an account posted that “the 40mg 007 tablets are finally back in stock and ready to ship”, adding “mention this post with your order for a surprise”.[19]

What buyers report

We searched the local Arctic Shift archive of 34 subreddits (7-OH, kratom, MGM-15 and cat's claw) for every name the shop has used, its initials and buyers' misspellings of it, on 2026-10-17. We found 1,039 posts by 591 authors from August 2022 to October 2026, 605 of them with the name in the title. The archive holds posts, not comments, so a mention only in a comment is not counted. Posts peaked from July to September 2024, at 92 to 103 a month. We sorted the 109 threads that have the name in the title and 25 or more comments by what the opening post describes, and read about 50 of them in full with their comments.[20] A thread counts once in each row it fits:

Praise is the largest row, and it comes in waves after each new batch and each sale. In May 2025 a buyer wrote of “bulk7oh overseas organix having a crazy discount code for one dollar tabs”.[21] Some of it was paid for: a May 2024 review began “this honest product review of oo 007 tabs is being done in exchange for a 25 discount on my next purchase”.[22]

Weak batches (2024). The complaints cluster in spring and autumn 2024. In October 2024 a buyer started a petition: “these tabs from overseas organix that have been shipping in the silver bags are extremely under dosed and underwhelming”.[23] Another phoned the shop and reported that a staff member said “she doesn't know why people are disliking this batch because it is their strongest batch to date testing at 22mg”, and sent tablets for testing; we found no posted result from that buyer.[24] One buyer posted a photograph under the title “found a metal wire ina oo tab”.[25] In December 2024 a buyer asked “why are they labeled as 22mg on the site they say 18mg on the front of the packaging and 15mg of 7oh on the back of the packaging”.[26]

Prices and payment. In September 2024 a buyer wrote that “while everyone else is lowering their prices overseas organix is raising them”;[27] in June 2025 another, of the 40 mg tablets, that “they're crazy for more than doubling the price overnight”.[28] By August 2025 the shop had lost card payments: “since they couldn't take a credit card because of the crack down i zelle them the funds”, wrote a three-year customer whose order did not arrive.[29]

Lab results

The shop has had a lab page since 2022, which said that “overseasorganix uses an outside third party laboratory to test our products for the presence of microorganisms”.[30] What buyers argued about was the 7-OH content of the tablets.

The W tablets (2024). In April 2024 a buyer relayed a test by Wonderland Gardens, another 7-OH seller, under the title “wonderland gardens confirms w tablets only 4 5 mg overseas organix are liars”.[31] A second buyer wrote that “these tabs are less 7oh than the stated coa on the site wich was 15mg coa was 4 7”, and a reply that “they are still using the same lab report from nn in 2023”.[32] In June, by a buyer's account of the shop's email, “they were sending out free replacements because the supplier sent out 10mg instead of 15mg”.[33] We did not see the competitor's test or the 2023 certificate.

The 007 tablets (from July 2024). Buyers reported that the shop now pressed its own tablets: “they have a new distributor and these tested at 20 mg from the labs i received”.[34] A buyer-commissioned solvent test passed, with the tester adding that “it is important to note the hexane present in these tablets 17 parts per million”.[35] One independent potency test was published. In November 2024 TestMyKratom, a buyer-funded testing service, reported “7 oh claim 18mg per tablet lab result 17 68mg per tablet”, and wrote that “given the negative discourse surrounding the 007 tabs we were actually expecting a different result”.[36] In December 2024 the shop's disclaimer said “please be advised 15 stamp on the tablet does not reflect the true mg of these tablets 22mg”, with “recommended dosing 1 4 to 1 2 tablet per serving”.[37]

Buyers also doubted the certificates themselves. One said “the qr code on the package that has the labs also shows nothing”.[38] Another asked for a current report and posted it under the title “i asked oo to send me an updated lab test since their tabs weren't working for me”; replies pointed to dates that did not match their bags.[39] A third thought that OO's certificate images matched another vendor's: “noticed a picture of labs that looked really close to what i just saw posted about omega extracts”; a reply in the same thread said the two had used the same laboratory on different dates.[40] In April 2026 a buyer wrote that “the powder is a 84 powder that nn labs tested at 90”.[41]

This site's lab-results section holds no test of an Overseas Organix product.

Marketing

In 2025 the shop's blog ran dozens of search-engine pages about 7-OH. One said that “many addiction recovery programs now incorporate 7oh as part of a comprehensive treatment plan due to its proven effectiveness” and answered its own question about safety with “yes 7oh for drug recovery is made from natural ingredients and is considered safe for most individuals”.[3] Another told readers with anxiety that “unlike traditional anxiety medications our tablets pose minimal risk of dependency or harmful side effects when used responsibly”.[42] 7-OH is an opioid. No study was named on either page.

Bulk7oh's 2024 page claimed that “bulk 7 oh has the highest quality 7 hydroxymitragynine in the usa”.[1] In 2024 a Florida page answered “yes 7oh tablets in florida are legal except in sarasota country where kratom is banned”, and said that “individuals must be over the age of 18 to purchase 7oh tablets in florida”, on a page whose entry box read “you must be at least 21 to enter this site”.[43] Another post said “as of the time of writing there isn t a blanket ban on 7oh specifically”.[44] By December 2025 the footer warned that “there are reports suggesting that kratom 7oh and mgm may possess habit forming or dependency related properties”.[9]

The raid, and what the court record shows

What the record shows. The US Attorney for the Middle District of Florida says the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Brevard County Sheriff's Office opened the investigation in June 2025, and that “horvath was involved in two undercover law enforcement purchases occurring at overseas organix inc”. It says the business “overseas organix inc was marketing and selling products containing 7 oh which is classified as a schedule i controlled substance in florida”. On 2025-12-03 agents searched the premises, and “officers also seized more than 91 000 pounds of kratom a precursor to 7 oh kilogram quantities of 7 oh powder and thousands of pressed 7 oh pills ready for sale”, with 38 firearms.[6]

The federal docket shows a complaint, an arrest, a first appearance and a detention order on 2025-12-04,[45] an indictment on 2025-12-18, a plea agreement filed on 2026-02-09, a plea hearing on 2026-02-17, the judge's acceptance of the plea on 2026-03-04, and sentencing, judgment and a forfeiture order on 2026-08-12.[46] The release of 2026-08-12 says that “maxwell david horvath 37 orlando has been sentenced by u s district judge” Gregory A. Presnell to six years in federal prison for “possessing a firearm as a convicted felon the court also ordered” forfeiture of “38 firearms including silencers short barreled rifles machineguns and thousands of rounds of ammunition”. It gives his history as a “federal conviction for possession with intent to distribute controlled substances in january 2019 horvath opened a business in palm bay selling a controlled substance”.[6] A 2018 federal case under the name Horvath in the same court closed in January 2019.[47] Fox 35 reported from the court file that “in 2019 horvath pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute he was sentenced to 24 months in prison followed by 36 months of supervised release”.[48]

The conviction is for the firearm. The release names no drug count, and Fox 35, reporting from the court file, wrote that “on feb 17 horvath pleaded guilty to one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon” and that “according to the plea agreement horvath faces no further charges”.[48] We have not read the indictment or the judgment, so we do not know every count the grand jury returned. We found no state case.

What was reported at the time. The first reports came from the sheriff. WFTV wrote on the night of the search that “maxwell horvath 26 was arrested in brevard county florida after authorities seized 92 000 pounds of an illegal kratom derivative 7 oh”, that “horvath's business overseas organics was allegedly used to distribute the illegal substance”, and that “authorities believe horvath attempted to circumvent the law by shipping the substance out of state”.[49] CBS Miami put the seizure more carefully, as “approximately 92 000 pounds of an illegal substance believed to contain concentrations of 7 oh”, reported the sheriff's account that “agents bought drugs and military grade weaponry from him during the investigation and at one point even toured his facility”, and listed improvised explosive devices and “36 counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon” among the charges then announced.[50] The Justice Department's release eight months later describes the 91,000 pounds as kratom and does not mention explosives.[6] An industry site argued at the time of the plea that “news reports of 92 000 pounds of 7 oh were apparently confused by these statements as such a quantity is scientifically impossible”.[51] The news reports give his age as 26; the release gives 37.

Buyers heard first. A post on 2025-12-04 linked the WFTV story: “huge raid and over 92000 pounds of 7oh seized along with fire arms”.[52] The next day a post that speaks for r/7_hydroxymitragynine wrote that “most of you know that bulk7 overseas organix owner was raided and arrested”, and “if you had an order placed we suggest you attempt a chargeback asap”, adding: “this is something we only suggest in times like these”.[53] Buyers of the sale that week were stuck. One wrote that “my order never got shipped out and it appears i will be shit outta luck on getting my money back since they were only taking cash app and crypto during their sale”, and that “bulk7oh closed down today and their discord disappeared”.[54] Another: “ordered on monday had to pay with cashapp”.[55]

The reopening. In January 2026 the shop put up a notice: “on december 2nd our florida location had been raided by the dea which unfortunately halted all our company movement”, “we intend to continue normal business as of wednesday january 7th”, and “the only payment options we will be able to provide for the time being will be cashapp and zelle”.[56] A month later it added “we are currently searching for a 100 reliable credit card payment method” and “we 100 guarantee that we won t be going anywhere”.[57] An account posted that “overseas organix is open for new orders”.[58] Some buyers whose orders were lost were made good: “they sent me 100 20mg tablets to make up for my order that happened during the arrest”, one wrote in April 2026.[41] An industry site reported at the time of the plea that “horvath s company is still operating in south carolina”.[51]

What the indictment charged and what the judgment says. The docket shows both were filed; we read the docket's entries, not the documents.

Whether any state charge was brought in Brevard County. The sheriff announced charges on the day of the search; we found no state case.

Who runs the shop now. The register's newest company, Bulk7oh LLC, names the man who is serving the sentence as its manager. The South Carolina address on the site is not on any register we read.

Whether the 2026 tablets are tested. The shop's lab page and the buyers' reports of a laboratory result for the 84% powder are all we found; no independent test of a 2026 product turned up.
