Be the first. The form below takes about twenty seconds and needs no account.

The two grades are never combined. Ours is what the record shows; theirs is what people who dealt with this entity say.

  • Is there an identifiable legal operator: a registered name, a jurisdiction, an address that resolves?

a registered New York LLC whose ID the store prints, a Bronx client address on its certificates; the register gives a post-office name for service, and the site names no owner

    Evidence: [6][5][7][1]

  • How long has it operated, by evidence: first archive capture, domain registration, oldest attributable post?

    selling since October 2024

    Evidence: [1][8][3][2]

  • Does it publish third-party certificates of analysis for what it sells?

Cora Science certificates with full residual-solvent panels, linked from product pages and mirrored in a public library

    Evidence: [51][7][52][49]

  • Where there are results, do they agree with the label, the marketing and the reported effects?

the certificates we read match or exceed the label; a mitragynine batch went on sale with a failing certificate, and no independent test of a retail purchase was found

    Evidence: [7][52][54][30]

  • Are contents and amounts stated on the product?

every listing names the compound and its percentage or milligrams; 2026 pages add fillers and a dependence warning

    Evidence: [12][14][18]

  • No disease claims, no 'safe', no borrowed botanical names for synthetic compounds?

drop announcements by a self-described friend of the owner, giveaways for Discord members, generated art

    Evidence: [21][2][43][22]

  • Pattern of complaints about orders not arriving, long delays, no tracking?

12 of 106 threads open on a late, lost or damaged parcel; replacements require ID, a form and, by buyers' accounts, a police report

    Evidence: [20][27][28][26]

  • Pattern of complaints about wrong, inert, contaminated or mislabelled product?

10 threads on short weight or count, 12 on weak or foul product, one recalled extract

    Evidence: [20][23][24][54][31]

  • Chargebacks refused, refunds unanswered, processors dropped?

crypto, Chime and Zelle only until mid-2025; card processing lost and restored at least twice

    Evidence: [37][40][39][41]

  • Warning letters, seizures, lawsuits, attorney-general actions, platform bans?

no warning letter or case found; sold MGM-15, which Florida scheduled from 2026-07-01 and the DEA from 2026-08-26

    Evidence: [57][58][56][13][16]

  • Is there any attempt to keep minors out?

a 21+ line in the disclaimer, later a one-click age box

    Evidence: [3][16]

  • Does it say what the legal status of what it sells is, honestly, where it ships?

an LLC name, phone and email on the site; '7-OH is legal to sell in the United States'; all sales final

    Evidence: [3][55][26]

The long read

Who they say they are, and what the record says

Bronx Extracts sells 7-OH, the concentrated kratom-derived opioid, as powder by the gram and as tablets, from New York City. Buyers call it BX, BXtracts, Bronx or Bronx Extracts; its pages have called it Bronx Extracts LLC, Bronx LLC and, on its 2026 logo, BXtracts LLC. Its shop is bxtracts.com, registered on 2024-10-19 with the owner's details not shown.[1] A second site, bronxtakeover.com, carries the line “bronx extracts we changed the game”, a forum, giveaways and a lab library.[2]

The bxtracts.com home page in December 2024: a header with Home, Catalog and Contact, and a slider showing part of a residual-solvent report (methanol 316 ppm, ethyl acetate 1,530 ppm, reported 11/21/2024) under the caption Drop One: Unflavored tabs and 7OH powder.
Figure 1. The storefront in December 2024, two months after the domain was registered. The slider leads with a solvent report, not a product photo. [3]

A third domain, bronxextracts.com, belonged to someone else: a California cannabis maker that described itself as “we are a family owned business committed to providing high quality cannabis concentrates”, at “nevada city ca 95959”.[4] It has nothing to do with the 7-OH seller.

The store's terms say “this website is operated by bronx extracts” and end with an identifier, “dod id 7515272”.[5] That number is a New York Department of State ID: Bronx Extracts LLC, a domestic limited liability company in Bronx County, first filed on 2025-01-22, three months after the shop opened. The register gives a post-office name as the address for service of process.[6] The store's laboratory certificates give a client address in the Bronx, ZIP 10475.[7] Buyers place it there too. The first thread about it, on 2024-10-26, came from a buyer who wrote “i live in staten island and the package is coming from the bronx”,[8] and in January 2025 another wrote “my package is still in bronx ny right now the city of where it's shipped out of”.[9] One local buyer had “always done in person pick up because of great prices and products”.[10] A buyer in 2026 complained of “the nys sales tax that gets slapped on at checkout”.[11]

The store marked its first anniversary itself: in October 2025, “we are about to celebrate one year in business”.[2] It has no Reddit account that we could identify. It speaks to buyers through Discord, a site chat box and email.

What they sell

7-OH powders and tablets. The December 2024 home page announced “drop one unflavored tabs and 7oh powder” and promised that “at bronx extracts we pride ourselves on providing the finest 7 oh and mitragynine products available”.[3] By July 2025 the catalogue ran to about thirty products. The tablets came in flavours, such as “bx 20mg 7oh cherry flavor tablets”, up to a “129 mg 7oh 1 27 mg puesdo coffee flavor tablets”. The powders were sold by their stated 7-OH percentage, with any mitragynine pseudoindoxyl stated beside it, from a “7oh red powder 39 1 23 pseudo” to a “7oh powder 96 5”. There was a “cherry domestic pesudo tablet 15mg”, and mitragynine extract, such as “mitragynine broad spec 76 5 total alkaloids 96 7”.[12] Pseudoindoxyl is a rearranged mitragynine molecule that the DEA scheduled with MGM-15 in August 2026.[13]

Buyers distinguish the Thai tablets from the 30 mg domestic ones. By August 2026 a domestic tablet's page listed “ingredients 7 hydroxymitragynine other ingredients dextrose magnesium glycerate magnesium stearate artificial flavor” and warned that “7 oh can produce opioid like effects and may carry risks including tolerance dependence addiction and withdrawal”.[14] One buyer thought the domestic tablets resembled another company's: “these domestic 30mg tabs from bx remind me an awful lot of bkc”.[15] We found nothing that settles who presses them.

A product page: a pile of scored beige tablets beside the title 30MG New Domestic 7OH Strawberry, sale price, and a pack-size selector of 25 count.
Figure 2. The 30 mg domestic 7-OH tablet in August 2026. By then the page lists the fillers and carries a consumer warning about dependence and withdrawal. [14]

MGM-15 and pseudoindoxyl. In 2026 the shop added MGM-15, a semi-synthetic opioid made from a kratom alkaloid, and a collection for Florida, where 7-OH had been banned: “mgm 15 powder 88 free base florida resident”, “16mg mgm strawberry tablets florida”, “thai crystal pseudo powder 78 2 florida resident” and “pseudo powder 45 3 total alka 51 8 florida resident”, captured on 2026-04-03.[16] In August 2026 the main collection still listed MGM tablets such as “55 1mg mgm watermelon tablets new”, an “83 2 pseudo powder”, and a powder of two minor kratom alkaloids, “alkaloids powder speciogynine 37 2 paynantheine 56 total 99”.[17] The MGM-15 page by then opened with an “important consumer warning these products contain mgm 15” and said that “mgm 15 has demonstrated activity at opioid receptors”.[18]

The bxtracts.com Florida Resident Only collection behind a one-click age box (Please verify that you are 21+ years of age, Agree or Disagree) over a BXTRACTS LLC logo of a subway train and the Manhattan skyline; behind it, MGM New Batch Update: all grams will range between 1070-1090 mg.
Figure 3. April 2026: an MGM-15 collection for Florida residents, behind a one-click age box. The note underneath promises heavier jars after complaints of short ones. [16]

SR-17018. On 2026-08-15 every page carried a banner, “now live sr restocked”, and a collection held “sr 17018 98 1 new”.[19] SR-17018 is a synthetic drug that acts on the opioid receptor. It is not a kratom alkaloid, and this site has no page for it yet.

A green banner: Welcome to the Bronx, enjoy your stay; we ship Monday to Friday, same-day shipping before 3:00 PM EST; NOW LIVE: SR Restocked; below, the collection heading Sr 17018.

What buyers report

We searched the local Arctic Shift archive of 33 subreddits for the store's names on 2026-10-17, excluding the cannabis subreddits where “bx” means a backcross, and found 2,631 posts from October 2024 to October 2026 that name it, 2,031 of them in r/7_hydroxymitragynine. The archive holds posts, not comments, so a mention only in a comment is not counted. We read 106 threads in full with their comments: every thread with the name in its title and 40 or more comments, 91 in all, and 15 more chosen for a topic (the earliest posts, certificates, lookalike sites).[20] Counted by what the opening post describes, a thread counting once in each row it fits:

What the opening post describes Threads
Praise, a haul, a recommendation or a drop announcement 40
Short weight or a short tablet count 10
A late, lost, stolen or crushed parcel 12
Product weak, foul-tasting, wrong or contaminated 12
Harm after taking it (one thread is about a dog) 3
Payment trouble, the shop or its Discord closed 9
Support, a refund or a claim refused 7
A price rise 3
A lookalike site using the name 3
Questions about the certificates or solvents 6

Praise is the largest group. One account opened 10 of the 106 threads and wrote 286 of their comments, mostly announcing new stock before it went live. It describes the owner as “hes a personal friend of mine” and says “im in consistent communication with him”.[21] It does not claim to work for the store. In mid-2025 it was one voice among dozens praising the powders. The art is part of the pitch: asked about the three old men drawn on the store's bags, a reader answered “its just an ai generated image”.[22]

Short weight. The longest-running complaint. In July 2025 a buyer who weighed every order wrote that “this led to a series of orders that every time were at least 150mg short”, and also that “they always made it right and did so quickly”.[23] In November another wrote that the store “said something about 'static' and is blaming it on the jars”.[24] By April 2026 the MGM page promised that “all grams will range between 1070 1090 mg”, and added: “if you believe your jar is short a full video recording is required”.[16] Tablet buyers report missing tablets too: “first time i was shorted a tab from a 25 tab pack second time i was shorted a tab on a 10 tab pack”.[25]

Parcels. The policy is that “all sales are final we do not offer refunds or exchanges on any products purchased”, and a lost parcel needs “a valid photo id completed lost package form”.[26] In February 2026 a buyer wrote that “bx refuses to initiate a claim because they believe claim acceptance is so low it's not worth their time”,[27] and in September 2026 another that “they literally told me i had to fill out a police report just to get my package resent”.[28]

Quality. Most product complaints since 2026 concern the MGM-15, not the 7-OH. “i took 120mg and i'm still completely in withdrawal”, a buyer wrote of an 88% powder in April 2026.[29] In June another shook an 82% powder sold as a salt in water and wrote that “if this was really salt base it would have fully dissolved by now”.[30] In August: “their em gee smells and taste like straight up gasoline”, from a buyer who also said “their 7oh is great rlly good quality”.[31]

Harm. In July 2025 a buyer took one full-spectrum tablet and “i started vomiting and sweating profusely for around 30 minutes”.[32] In May 2025 a buyer's dog swallowed a dropped 20 mg tablet; the owner wrote that “that tablet smacked him pretty good”.[33] 7-OH is an opioid, and a dropped tablet is a poisoning risk to a pet.

Prices. In August 2026, around the DEA's scheduling of MGM-15, buyers reported prices rising overnight: “he upped the price on everything i think even higher than it was before the ban announcement”.[34]

Allegations: who says what, and what we could check

That the store sold mitragynine as 7-OH, and cheated its supplier (December 2024). A buyer defending the store summarised the claims as “they are saying he 'scammed the thai vendor' and 'he sold powder which was mit'”, and posted a certificate showing about 70% 7-OH. Another reply in the same thread made the general point: “that lab proves nothing even the labs vendors show there is no way to tell if what is shipped out is from what is tested”.[35] We found no document behind either claim.

That rivals were sabotaging it (2025). In January 2025 a buyer relayed the owner's account that “there were hundreds of false orders being placed last week he said the bigger vendors are trying to bring him down”, and added that “it is possible i only got 1 side of the story”.[36] By March the store was behind a password: “we only accept btc chimepay and zelle as forms of payment”, and “please contact the chat box for the password”.[37] In May its Discord disappeared, along with others: “looks like someone has been on a 7oh discord rampage trying to get them all banned”.[38] A week later the shop closed while it sorted out payments: “hopefully it won't take a full 12 days for them to sort out their banking issue”.[39] In September 2025 it told buyers that “we will not have a payment processor for about 5 10 days moving forward during this time we'll only be accepting crypto zelle”,[40] and later that “we're excited to announce our payment system is officially back up”, adding that “all unpaid orders have been cancelled”.[41]

Figure 5. March 2025: the store behind a password, Bitcoin, Chime or Zelle only, the password handed out in chat. [37]

That its Discord bans critics. In December 2025 a buyer wrote that they “just said there is higher purity extract out there that bx does not have apparently that warranted a ban”.[42] The forum rules on its second site ask for civility and set giveaway terms: “anyone over 21 that lives where kratom and 7oh products are legal may enter”, “all giveaways sponsored by bronx extracts llc”.[43]

That it tests rivals' products as a weapon. In March 2026, during a dispute with StoutAlkz, a buyer wrote that “bx is now claiming that the labs are bullshit and they also sent the same material in to cora and got around 50”, and another that “bx also showed zero proof of the cora labs he sent in”.[44] In May a buyer wrote of a third seller that “mgmpf had ethyl acetate not methanol though the 3rd party who tested it was bx and they were going thru a dispute”.[45] We did not find the reports BX is said to have commissioned.

Lookalikes. In October 2025 the store disowned social-media accounts using its logo: “bronx extracts does not currently operate any official twitter accounts”.[46] In August 2026 its Discord vanished again, and a buyer warned that “their discord got nuked and a site called bxextract com popped up that is a scam site”.[47] Two more threads in September asked which of several BX-named sites was real. The store's own domain is bxtracts.com.

Lab results

Certificates are the store's selling point. At first it had none for solvents: in October 2024 a buyer complained that “they did not post residual solvents tests or even order them”.[48] By December the home page led with a solvent report.[3] From 2025 the product pages link a Cora Science report, “check out our latest lab report”,[49] and buyers took notice: “bxtracts makes 7 oh history with first powders with no detectable residual solvents”.[50] The second site keeps a library of twelve Cora certificates, among them “feu domestic 30 mg grape tab dom 30mg grape pdf” and “feu thai crystal 90 pdf”.[51]

We read two. The certificate for the domestic berry tablet names “client bronx extracts lab cora science llc” and “name domestic 30mg berry lot number 12”, and reports “7 hydroxymitragynine report results 34 2 mg unit”, about 14% over a 30 mg label, with every solvent passing, such as “methanol nmt 3000 loq ug g 150 pass”.[7] The certificate for a powder sold as 96.5% reports “7 hydroxymitragynine report results 96 5 w w”.[52] Both match or exceed what the listings say. Both were samples the store sent in itself, as every certificate here is.

Figure 7. A Cora Science certificate for the 30 mg domestic berry tablet: 34.2 mg of 7-OH per tablet, about 14% over the label. The sample was a bag the store sent in. [7]

Publishing solvents means buyers can read them. In January 2026 a buyer listed “methanol at 148 acetone at 192 and ethyl acetate at 369” from a domestic tablet's certificate, all under the limits, and wrote “i at least appreciate the honestly from bx by posting these”.[53] In December 2025 buyers read a mitragynine extract's certificate and found a failure: “it literally has detectable amounts of hexane chloroform and completely failed for dichloromethane”. The extract had been on sale with that certificate posted. The store then withdrew it: “he was sending emails recalling it”, and “they called it an internal quality assurance oversight”. One buyer's objection was that “my point is that they didn't decide to recall refund it until people complained”.[54] The failing certificate is no longer in the archive, so we cite the buyers.

No independent test of a Bronx Extracts product bought at retail turned up, and this site's lab-results section holds none.

Regulatory and legal

From 2024 to 2025 the site said that “7 hydroxymitragynine is legal to sell in the united states”, and that “this product is intended for use by adults 21 years and older”.[3] It also said that “bronx extracts llc is not liable for any adverse effects or misuse of its products”.[55] By 2026 the age check was a one-click box.[16]

Florida added “dihydro 7 hydroxymitragynine mgm 15” to Schedule I by emergency rule, with the history line “history new 7 1 26”, that is from 2026-07-01.[56] The store's Florida-resident MGM collection was captured on 2026-04-03, before that date.[16] The DEA's temporary order for MGM-15 and mitragynine pseudoindoxyl followed nationally: “this temporary order is effective august 26 2026 until august 26 2028”.[13] The last capture of the shop, on 2026-08-15, still lists MGM tablets and pseudo powder.[17]

A search of FDA warning letters for Bronx Extracts and bxtracts on 2026-10-17 found none; the seven 7-OH warning letters of June 2025 went to other companies.[57] A federal docket search for Bronx Extracts returned nothing.[58]

Still open

Who owns Bronx Extracts LLC. The New York register gives a filing date and a post-office name for service; the organizer is on a page we did not read.

What the store sells after the DEA order. The archive has no capture of the shop after 2026-08-15. Buyers were still ordering 7-OH from it in October 2026.

Whether its certificates are the same as the laboratory's own records. Each product page links to the laboratory's portal; we read the PDFs, not the portal.

What the tests BX says it commissioned of rival sellers' products reported. We did not find them.
