The long read
Who they say they are, and what the record says
7 Kings Kratom sells 7-OH. Not kratom leaf: the opioid alkaloid 7-hydroxymitragynine, as tablets, capsules, a liquid shot and powders, by mail from a website at 7kingskratom.com. Until the day the DEA scheduled it, it also sold MGM-15. Its first archived home page offered “piles and piles of cheap strong 7 oh” and a deal for buyers to name their own price: “we want to give back to the 7 oh community so we are offering a name your price deal”.[1]

Figure 1. The storefront on 2025-08-13, the archive's first full capture: a name-your-price offer to what it calls the 7-OH community. [1]
The website names its operator once. The terms in August 2025 say the site is “operated by legacy leaf extracts”, and their contact block reads “legacy leaf extracts po box 4430 copley oh 44321”.[2] Copley is a township outside Akron. The store's own Reddit account wrote in June 2025 “we ship out of akron ohio”.[3] Buyers saw the same name on their bank statements: “the cc bill is legacy leaf extracts copley ohio”, and another, “my statement shows maz group”.[4] Parcels arrived from it too: “the return address was legacy leaf extracts so not super on the down low”.[5]

Figure 2. The terms in August 2025 name the operator, Legacy Leaf Extracts, and in one line Legacy Leafy Extracts. The contact block at the foot gives a post office box in Copley, Ohio. [2]
The domain 7kingskratom.com was registered on 2024-09-16 through Network Solutions, with the registrant hidden behind a privacy service.[6] A second domain, legacyleafextracts.com, was registered on 2024-05-22 through the same registrar.[7] The two WHOIS records give the same privacy-forwarding email address for the registrant. The legacyleafextracts.com address showed a parked page when the archive visited it in July 2025. No business record for Legacy Leaf Extracts or MAZ Group was found; see Still open.
The archive's first capture of the store is from 2025-07-10, and the first Reddit post that names it is from 2025-06-24.[8][9] The phone number has changed with the store's address. The 2025 contact page gave “phone 513 657 4974”, an Ohio area code;[10] by 2026 it read “text us 984 810 0031”, a North Carolina code.[11] A buyer explained: “984 is the area code the 513 one is an old number”.[4]
By October 2026 the storefront itself carries the other name. Its disclaimer still says “7 kings kratom its owners and employees are not responsible”, and the copyright line beneath it reads “copy 2026 legacy leaf powered by shopify”.[12]

Figure 3. The foot of the same page. The disclaimer names 7 Kings Kratom; the copyright line names Legacy Leaf. [12]
Ohio, and the move
Ohio's Board of Pharmacy made 7-OH illegal by emergency rule in December 2025: “effective december 12 2025 oac 4729 9 1 01 1 makes all forms kratom related products illegal to sell possess or distribute in the state of ohio”.[13] The same day, in a thread titled after the state, an account that speaks for the store wrote “we have moved all stock and inventory to pa and nc”.[14] A buyer whose order went missing that month was told by others that the store had had to “move from one state to another with a quickness while trying to keep operations moving since the state they were originally operating from passed laws banning the products”.[15] In February 2026 another wrote that “the return label says they ship from las vegas”.[16]
The store closed behind a password page more than once. On 2026-01-24 it read “we had an explosion of orders that we are trying to deal with”.[17] It reopened on Shopify, and a buyer reported the explanation for a price rise: “he said they raised prices because of a new card processor”.[18] For some weeks in May 2026 the archive found it back on WooCommerce, with a checkout from a payment company called WAAVE, whose shipping page said the restrictions “are automatically updated by waave compliance”.[19] By October it was on Shopify again.

Figure 4. The store closed behind a password on 2026-01-24, one of several closures buyers report. The move to Shopify came with it. [17]
What they sell
Capsules and a liquid, 2025. The first catalogue sold capsules of 12 to 80 mg of 7-OH, powders sold by purity, and a “nano” liquid. The store's account introduced the liquid on Reddit: “we are 7 kings and made a bad ass liquid shot that is nano 7 oh”.[3] The home page offered ten capsules and a shot for $21.99, “get 264mg of 7 oh for 21 99”, and among its three best sellers listed a powder whose certificate had not arrived: “80 85 7 oh pending coa”.[1]

Figure 5. The same page further down. One of three best sellers is a powder whose certificate is pending; the offer below it is ten capsules and a liquid shot adding up to 264 mg of 7-OH. [1]
Tablets, 2026. From December 2025 the store sold its own pressed tablets in flavours: Tangerine Bombs, Wild Berry, Sweet Mint and Lemon Headz. Each is named by two numbers, the strength it is sold as and the strength the store says it tested at. The October 2026 home page lists “12mg 7 oh tangerine bombs dolla tablets tested 15 8mg” and “35mg 7 oh tangerine tablets tested 45 9mg”.[12] The product feed lists “60mg sweet mint 7 oh tested 74 1mg”.[20] The October banner advertises new lots pressed with new dies, the tablets stamped with a crown and a K.

Figure 6. The storefront on 2026-10-02, after the MGM-15 order: 7-OH tablets stamped with the brand's crown, from what it calls new lots and new dies. [12]
MGM-15. From late 2025 the store sold MGM-15, a semi-synthetic opioid made from a kratom alkaloid, in tablets of 5 to 50 mg and as a powder. The March 2026 home page led with a price cut: “5mg cotton candy mgm 15 price drop tested at 5 53mg”.[21] One tablet combined the two drugs: “12mg 7 oh 3mg mgm 15 tabs tested at 13 2mg 3 15mg”.[22] The powder was sold to “experienced users only”: “86 mgm 15 insanely potent experienced users only current batch 86 1 mgm 15 zero other alks pure mgm 15”.[23] In May 2026 the WooCommerce home page was titled “7 kings premium 7 oh mgm 15 products mgm 15 powder in stock finally”.[24]

Figure 7. The home page on 2026-03-10. The age check is one click. The banner sells a tablet named 12 mg by its test result, 17.7 mg, and the next line is an MGM-15 price cut. [21]
Pseudoindoxyl and SR-17018. In September 2025 the store's Reddit account advertised a powder as “60 7 oh 0 mit 875 pseudo”, that is 60% 7-OH and 0.875% mitragynine pseudoindoxyl.[25] The listing's web address still carries the phrase. Buyers also describe tablets of SR-17018, a synthetic research opioid this site has no page for, bought in the August 2026 sale: “they shorted me 25 on my 50ct 50mg sr17 tablets”.[26]
Powders. The store sells 7-OH powders by percentage: 50%, 60%, 80% and a “90% Fluff” that it calls its best, “current 95 total alks 93 7 oh pseudo free”.[27]

Figure 8. The store's photograph of its 90% Fluff powder, the product it calls by far its best. [28]
What buyers report
Every post in r/7_hydroxymitragynine and r/7OH to 2026-10-06 was searched through the Arctic Shift archive for the store's names. 374 posts name it, 296 in the first and 78 in the second, from 2025-06-24 to 2026-10-03. The 300 with comments, and 23 more from the store's own accounts and from r/7ohm and r/7hydromitra, were read with their comment threads.[29] A thread can fall into several groups.
| What the thread describes | Threads |
|---|---|
| An order delivered as described | 73 |
| Courier delay | 41 |
| An order that never arrived | 5 |
| Short count, short weight or a wrong product | 33 |
| A product suspected weak, mislabelled, or a stale or borrowed certificate | 78 |
| A refund refused, or no reply | 19 |
| Praise | 146 |
| The site down or behind a password | 17 |
| A payment problem | 14 |
Praise is the most common thing in the threads. A typical one: “overall 10 10 transaction with 7 kings kratom”.[30] Shipping is fast and cheap by buyers' standards: “13 bucks fedex 2 day is unheard of”.[31]
The complaints are mostly about counts and contents. A buyer on 2026-08-19 found a different tablet in a bag of Tangerine Bombs: “i went to count my tangerines and i see this thing in here”.[32] A June buyer was charged twice: “immediately get charged twice for same amount”.[33] In August a parcel went to the wrong town and the buyer reported that the store and the courier each blamed the other.[34]
Payment runs under names other than the store's. One buyer's bank stopped the charge and asked “if i was purchasing from a name other than the company”.[35] In May 2026, when card payments failed, buyers were sent PayPal invoices for furniture; one explained, “the invoice for furniture is a way to decoy the product”.[36] A disguised invoice leaves a buyer who disputes the charge describing something he did not buy.
The MGM-15 sale
The DEA published its order placing MGM-15, MGM-16 and mitragynine pseudoindoxyl in Schedule I on 2026-08-26: “this temporary order is effective august 26 2026 until august 26 2028”.[37] In early August the store emailed its customers that it would keep selling until each compound's scheduling was published.[38]

Figure 9. The store's email to customers, posted by a buyer on 2026-08-03: it would sell each compound until its scheduling was published in the Federal Register. [38]
On 2026-08-24 and 25 it cut prices on MGM-15: “even the 1 g deals were 10 a pop 5 for 30 or 10 for 60”.[39] Then “they password locked the site”,[39] which a buyer explained as “they had shut down the website to catch up on the em jee em purchases”.[40] The password page said it would reopen in the morning to take more orders before MGM-15 became illegal on Wednesday. In the screenshot a buyer posted, the browser tab is titled Legacy Leaf.

Figure 10. The store on 2026-08-25, a day before the DEA's order took effect, as a buyer captured it. The browser tab reads Legacy Leaf. [39]
A buyer quoted the store's follow-up email: “they had over 4 500 orders in 2 days for em 15 5 kilos worth”.[41] Another doubted it, “claiming they weighed and shipped 4 500 orders by hand in two days”.[41] The figure is the store's, relayed, and nothing else measures it.
The orders that arrived were not all whole. “so i bought 25 of their last m gee m tabs and only got 20”, one buyer wrote, and when the store would not make it up, “he refused to refund it so im doing a partial charge back”.[26] By then the tablets were in Schedule I, and a refund would have meant shipping more of them.

Figure 11. A buyer's photograph from 2026-08-28: a bag sold as 25 tablets of 50 mg MGM-15, under the store's own label, and the 20 tablets it held. [26]
Allegations: who says what, why, and what we could check
That the store posts as its own customers. Buyers say a Reddit account that promotes the store is the owner's: “this guy musclemedical6057 is literally the owner pretending to be a customer”.[42] What we could check is the account's own posts. In June 2025 it wrote in the first person plural, as the store: “we are 7 kings and made a bad ass liquid shot that is nano 7 oh”, and “we ship out of akron ohio”.[3] In November 2025 the same account wrote in the third person, as a shopper, “7kings just released their newest test results on their products and i noticed that everything is 10 or more overdosed”,[43] and in a forum for MGM-15 buyers, “i stumble across these guys and they have a 3rd party lab that has 20mg of mgm in it”.[44] A commenter under the first wrote “this is literally the owner posting pretending”.[43] The account's own words settle this one: it speaks for the store in one thread and as a stranger to it in others.
The store's first month on Reddit fits the same pattern. Three posts titled “7kingskratom Capsule Review” appeared from three accounts on 2025-07-12; two were removed, and under the third a reader wrote “you sound like a paid spokesperson”.[45] Buyers say the store paid for reviews in credit: “they offered 25 dollars off the next order for reviews when they first started up”,[46] and “they give money off for reviews”.[47] The 2025 home page carried 46 customer reviews. One, “ummm very strong compared to other 60mg tablets and a little cheaper”, appears twice, under two names, dated May 24 and July 8. Another, on a 37.5 mg 7-OH capsule, reads “this supplement has transformed my energy levels i feel alert and focused all day”.[1]
That a certificate was altered. A buyer compared two solvent reports from the same laboratory on 2026-03-18 and found methylene chloride limited at 1 on one and at 600 on the other: “on the 80 powder the limit says 600 with a result of 40”.[48] An account that speaks for the store answered “we in no way shape or form altered this coa or asked the lab to change the limit”, and that “ical gave inconsistent specifications”.[48] Both numbers exist in published standards. The international guideline for residual solvents in medicines sets 600 ppm for dichloromethane, the same compound;[49] California's cannabis rules set 1 µg/g, the limit the same laboratory printed on the store's MGM-15 certificate, “methylene chloride 1 g g nd”.[50] A report that switched standards between samples would explain the two limits without an edit. A result of 40 is far under the first and forty times the second. The certificate itself was not found archived, so neither the buyer's reading nor the store's could be checked against it.
That a lookalike site takes orders. A buyer asked in February 2026 for the real address: “can someone send me the 7kings link i am wondering if i placed order with a fake 7kings scam site”.[51] Two posts on 2026-10-07 in other forums carry the title “7kings fake website scam!!!” and nothing else. No lookalike domain was identified. The store's only domain is the one in this page's header.
If you bought from 7 Kings and had a product tested, or received a parcel from a site you think was not the store's, rate it below or comment on the thread at the foot of this page.
Lab results
The store promises “we test every single batch for potency and residual solvents and openly share this”.[23] Its current listings show certificates as images, from two laboratories: Infinite Chemical Analysis Labs (ICAL) in San Diego, and SC Labs in Warren, Michigan. Both name the client as 7 Kings Kratom. The store's own product feed names the vendor the same way: “vendor 7 kings kratom”.[20]

Figure 12. The certificate behind the 86% MGM-15 powder. The sample is a two-gram bag labelled by hand, and the batch is the sample: 2 units of 2 units. [52]
The MGM-15 certificate is in ICAL's online index, so it can be checked: “client 7 kings kratom batch result pass batch no mgm15260403”.[50] It reports 86.1% MGM-15 and no 7-OH or pseudoindoxyl above the limit of quantitation. Its batch is “batch size 2 units sample size 2 units”:[50] the laboratory tested a two-gram bag, photographed with “2g MGM” written on it, and that bag is the whole batch the certificate describes. A certificate like this says what was in the bag. It says nothing about the next kilo.
The SC Labs certificates have the same shape. The 80% powder and the Fluff powder were each a batch of “2 G / 2 G”, collected and received on 2026-09-04, with revised certificates issued on 2026-09-10.[53][54] The 80% powder tested at 79.975% 7-OH; the Fluff at 93.022% 7-OH and 2.467% mitragynine.

Figure 13. The 80% powder's certificate: 79.975% 7-OH, no mitragynine, on a batch of two grams, all of which was the sample. [53]

Figure 14. The Fluff powder's certificate: 93.0% 7-OH. The listing says pseudo free; the summary page shown lists no pseudoindoxyl result either way. [54]
The tablets are stronger than their names. The store's own tests put every tablet above the strength it is sold as. The Sweet Mint 60 mg tablet tested at 72.37 mg of 7-OH a tablet, on an SC Labs certificate of 2026-09-14,[55] and the store lists it as “60mg sweet mint 7 oh tested 74 1mg”.[20] The 12 mg Tangerine Bombs tested at 15.8 mg; the 35 mg Tangerine at 45.9 mg.[12] In March the 12 mg tablet was listed at 17.7 mg, 48% over.[21] A buyer in November 2025 had a 60 mg tablet tested independently and reported “58mgs 7oh and 4mgs of pseudo”.[56] The store's account had already announced, posing as a customer, that “everything is 10 or more overdosed”.[43]

Figure 15. A tablet sold as 60 mg, tested at 72.4 mg of 7-OH, about a fifth more than its name. The store lists it as tested at 74.1 mg. [55]
For 7-OH the difference matters more than the honesty of the listing. A buyer who takes a 12 mg tablet because the bag says 12 mg takes a fifth to a half more than that. The listing tells a buyer who reads it; the tablet and the bag do not.
A borrowed certificate. In July 2025 the store advertised a 98.6% white powder with a certificate from another vendor. A reader asked “why'd you steal the 7ohhub lab tho”, and the store replied that “the material that is on 7ohhub and ours is the from the exact same extraction lab”, and “what we did was 1000 wrong and it slipped through the cracks”.[57]
Stale certificates. Buyers say the tablet certificates are not renewed: “almost all the labs for 7kings tabs are like 6 months old”,[58] and “they also only drop labs on their first batch of tablets and never update after that”.[38] The September 2026 SC Labs certificates replaced older ones on most listings. In October 2026 a buyer reading them wrote “it seems like all of their solvents are really heavy”.[59]
This site's lab-results section holds no test of a 7 Kings product.
Marketing and disclosure
The 2025 site sold capsules on a claim it never supported: “we specially coat the 7 oh with a patent pending coating”, with “3 powerful absorption enhancers like grapefruit juice powder and black pepper extract which have been clinically proven to increase absorption”.[1] The FAQ repeated that “we put a special coating on the 7 oh to increase bioavailability and absorption”.[60] No patent application and no study is named.
The terms the store published in 2025 contain another business's details. They set out sales restrictions in another spelling, “legacy leafy extracts does not sell kratom products to this locations”, and the shipping page sent returns to “support legacyleafextracts com”.[61] The age rule says “legacy leaf extracts does not sell any of its product to those under the age of 21”.[2] In 2026 the refund policy still read “returns will need to be sent to the following address insert return address”.[62]
The footer calls the products kratom, and says buyers must be 21 to buy “kratom”.[12] What the store sells is concentrated 7-OH, which Ohio banned in December 2025, and until August MGM-15. The age check is a one-click box. In May 2026 the shipping page listed states and counties the store would not ship to, and noted that “no card transactions are allowed for international shipping”.[19] A buyer in Orange County, California was refused at checkout in April 2026.[63]
Regulatory and legal
FDA site searches for “7 Kings”, “7KingsKratom” and “Legacy Leaf Extracts” on 2026-10-11 returned no warning letter or other action.[64] CourtListener's federal docket search for the same names returned no case.[65]
Two rules bear on what the store sold. Ohio's ban on concentrated kratom alkaloids took effect on 2025-12-12, while the store still shipped from the Akron area by its own account; it moved its stock out of the state.[13][14] The DEA's temporary order made MGM-15 a Schedule I drug nationally from 2026-08-26, and the store sold it until that day.[37] On 2026-10-09 the DEA filed a notice to place 7-OH above a threshold in Schedule I as well, for publication on 2026-10-14.[66] On 2026-10-02 the store was still selling 7-OH tablets.[12]
Still open
Who Legacy Leaf Extracts and MAZ Group are. Neither name turned up in an FDA or federal court search, or in a web search for a business record. The Ohio, North Carolina and Pennsylvania registries are the next places to look.
Where the store ships from now. Its own account said Pennsylvania and North Carolina in December 2025; buyers' return labels since then say Las Vegas.
What is in the tablets beyond 7-OH. The certificates on the listings report potency and solvents. One buyer's independent test reported pseudoindoxyl in a 60 mg tablet. A test of sealed tablets from two lots, by a laboratory the store did not choose, would settle it.
