What Exposed is, how the two grades work, and why guests can speak here

by ch3ch3 · 1h ago · 0 comments

The rest of this site is about substances. This section is about the people and companies selling them.

Each page here is a dossier on one entity: a vendor, a manufacturer, a brand, a testing lab. It says who they say they are and what the public record says, what they sell and what we think is in it, what buyers report, whether there are third-party lab results and whether those match the label, and what regulators and courts have had to say. Every quotation on the page has been checked by a machine against the document it came from, the same way the deep dives are checked. Every deduction from our grade is a finding with a source beside it.

This is not a directory, and it will not become one

You will not find a link to any of these entities' shops here. Their domains are named as text. The only links to their own material are archived copies, so that what we quoted stays checkable after a page is changed or a site goes dark. There is no price list. There is no "where to buy". Nothing on this site recommends a vendor, and a high grade does not mean a product is safe to take; it means we looked and found nothing material, which is a different statement.

We do this because somebody holding a product from one of these entities needs to know what compound they are holding and what this site knows about it. Each dossier links to the molecule pages for what it sells, and each molecule page links back to every dossier that names it.

Two grades, never added together

Ours starts at 100 and only goes down. Twelve questions, each with a weight: is there an identifiable operator; how long have they operated; do they publish third-party lab results and do those match the label; are contents stated; are the claims lawful; what is the pattern of complaints about delivery, product and refunds; what have regulators and courts done; is there any age gating; do they say what the legal status of what they sell is. Every answer that costs points has evidence beside it, and you can open it. An answer of unknown costs nothing and is drawn greyed out, and the headline says how many of the twelve we could answer.

Theirs is the readers' grade: five questions, one to five each, from people who dealt with the entity. Accuracy, delivery, service, honesty, overall. It is an average and a count, and it is greyed out until somebody has rated. It is drawn beside ours and never combined with it. When the two disagree, that is worth reading about.

Guests can rate and comment here, and nowhere else on the site

Somebody who was scammed should be able to say so without making an account. So on these pages, and only these, you can rate an entity and leave a short note without signing in. You get a generated name you can change. You can give an email address or not; if you do, you choose whether it is shown, and we will never write to it.

The limits, so that a vendor cannot grade itself: one rating per person per entity, where a person is a signed-in account or, for a guest, a keyed hash of the connecting address. We never store the address itself. Submitting again from the same place edits your rating rather than adding another. A burst of ratings on one entity from one place is held back from the count until a moderator has looked at it, and moderators can see the clusters. Counts shown on the page are of ratings that passed those checks.

What we will not do here

We will not call anybody a scam in our own voice. If a regulator or a court did, we quote the regulator or the court. We will not publish a dossier whose quotations have not been verified or whose deductions have no source. We will not take a vendor's money, link to a vendor's shop, or remove a finding because the entity asked; a correction needs a document, and if you have one, the comments under the dossier are where it goes.
